If Adam’s recent tweet is any indication, it looks like fans are in for a “spooktacular” time tonight. So put on your best Glampire costume and join the Glamily at the 102.9 NOW FM Texas Tango at the Verizon Theatre at Grand Prairie. Ghoul and goblin capacity is 6,300. Other devilish performers include Alanis Morissette, Gavin DeGraw, Phillip Phillips and Forever the Sickest Kids.
The first act is scheduled to take the stage at 6:00 PM CDT. Adam is to be on at 8:25 PM CDT with a 40 minute set but according to their website…”Set times subject to change without prior notice”. They better not shorten his set or they will have to deal with the wrath of some very upset and blood-thirsty Glampires!

Hi Everyone! I hope that nothing will happen where I live and I’ll be able to watch livestream.
Luckily I live in pre-war brick building in the middle of one NYC boroughs. So far so good, I still have power and Internet.
Outside it looks pretty bad and winds are making terrible noise.
Oksana, stay safe. Keep us posted how you are doing.
We are feeling it here too on Lake Michigan. Very high waves and warnings to stay away from the beaches. It’s nothing like what you are going through though.

Glad to hear that you are okay luval and oksana. New York City is looking pretty fierce. One of my best friends lives in the Bronx at around 239th street right next to the Hudson River. I tired to reach her today and no answer. She is on the 10th floor and has difficulty walking. I really hope the power stays on in her area.

I’ve been getting emails from the NY university my son #2 is with. He’s spending his freshman year abroad, however, we get all the NY emails. OMG. They are in Washington Heights, but, the students are on lock-down in the dorms. They have generators, flashlights and meals in the building. They are not allowed out or into other campus buildings.
This is really getting scary…

They are even warning people to stay off Lake Michigan here. People are out surfing here too. The mayor here said that if they are out, they are at their own risk. No rescue personnel will be sent out after them. it’s too dangerous, even here.

Mils, I have a friend that lives literally on the beach, accross street from the boardwalk.Did she move. Nope. Everyone , including me offered her shelter. She was too concerned about possibility of a tree branch falling on her brand new car if she moves with us. Now she is facing possibility of her car being flooded with sea water. Now she has no elevator service. I hope that her building will not lose electricity, which means no heat and water. And of course she is calling everybody and complaining. Wrrrr..
