After spending the last couple of weeks in the U.K., Adam returns briefly to his home state to perform at the Summerthing 2012 festival in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park (Hellman Hollow – previously known as Speedway Hollow). This free concert also features Scars On 45, Graffiti6, Boys Like Girls and Vicci Martinez, and is scheduled to run from 12-4 PM PDT (3-7 PM EDT, 19-23 UTC).
According to the radio station sponsor Alice 97.3, Adam is scheduled to appear at 330 PM PDT (630 PM EDT). This would imply about a half hour long set, similar to the radio concerts that Adam did in May. Tweet of a setlist posted at the site indicates that Adam may be onstage for up to an hour from 330 to 430 PM PDT!

Nice segue into Cuckoo. I think he’ll continue to do this…cover this song or others. Of course the tour we’ll get all the slow, emotional, power ballads sprinkled in.

I think he sounds wonderful! Love the big notes! He did forget the words to Broken English. Telltale sign is turning his back to the audience and he remained that way until he found his way back again.
At first, I thought he also forgot the words during “Cuckoo” but actually his voice faltered on that first note “Gotta … get out of this straitjacket” and so he improvised with the MF word.
But, again, I think he sounds great here!

Hmm, eywflyer – not sure about the “pitchy” – hard to tell because of all the noise and other people singing. But if he was kind of “loopy” from jet lag – maybe. If so, get that boy back to a big comfy bed in the U.K. and sleep 8-10 hours a day until 6/30.

Hi all,
just stopping by for a minute. I’d say the sound was a bit of a mess (Adam a bit low, percussion too loud?). Hot stuff was so fun – and so hot. Those lyrics take on a whole new meaning or maybe I just never paid attention before. There must be better video. One guy was filming with his ipad the whole time – I don’t know how the people behind him put up with that. Friendly mixed crowd, nice to see many students and many males.
