Adam’s “We Are Glamily” tour continues at Star Hall KITEC in Hong Kong. Tonight’s venue holds approximately 3600 people and does not appear to be sold out. One of those people is our own HK fan so we expect a first-hand recap immediately after the concert! Adam has appeared at this venue before, on 10/12/2010 during the international leg of the Glam Nation Tour. The show begins at 8:00 PM Hong Kong time (7 AM EST, 4 AM PST). The Skit.
Skit now, so I guess that there will be no Stay/Underneath. Too bad, but we do have great vids of it from Japan. The Chinese crowd was noisy during the songs.
Aw, you may be right rs. Too bad but maybe Adam wanted to be a bit more upbeat here.
I still want Stay/Underneath in Singapore.

Funny thing yesterday, I was checking pics and saw my special Toronto Glambert friend milkywayfairy with Adam at the airport. She finally met Adam!
Ad ran during first part of Fever. I think it was toned down. Didn’t see Johhny and Terrence in it until the end but the stage is far away.
Sound is great and he sounds amazing! Dragon Attack and Shady now. He sounds like he’s feeling free and loose and having a lot of fun. I should have gone to bed a long time ago but I can’t tear myself away!
Me, too, asif. Broken English is one of my faves. This concert is too upbeat for me LOL!
Adam gets bored and wants to change things around. We love the new things, and considering how much they love TFM in Asia, it was great that he sang it there, but I do miss Stay/Underneath/Broken English. I guess we can’t have everything. Someone should compile a DVD with the best versions of all the songs he does on this tour.

He has left the stage. Encore shortly. This is shaping into less than a one hour show. Maybe more than one encore?
Off air. Too bad. I hope that there is more than one encore. TFM and Shout notwithstanding, the HK Fans got at least two fewer songs and 10 minutes less than the other concerts we’ve seen so far. I am glad that HK fan and Milkywayfairy are both going to Singapore.
The heartbreak suite is so beautiful it will be hard for the fans who are there not to be disappointed.

Wish he could replace Tears for Fear’s shout with “Broken English”…. at least one more ballad…
OMG. According to Twitter, Adam kicked a plush dildo off the stage and said “This is a family show”.
Hmmmm…..cleaned up Fever and a comment like that. Maybe Adam got some feedback from the authorities.
Sounds as though PTL was an encore. Set was only one song short.

@TLKC… not only a note from the authorities but maybe he is preparing himself to be more censored for the Singapore and Jakarta gigs…
I always thought that the lyrics of underneath are a bit too sexy for a Jakarta crowd and Broken English has a faint reference to his relationship with his partner… But if he replaces it with “Time for Miracles” then I am happy…
Pop That Lock
The China mainland fans must be superjealous of their HongKong fellow fans… because they had “Time for Miracles”…
That is what it seemed like to me. It started about a half an hour after the scheduled time and the stream stopped an hour and 15 minutes after that while he was still singing Trespassing.

Thanks TLKC… I am not really a fan of the song “Trespassing”, it is more like an anthem… then again, I like to see Adam perform the song… I prefer “Pop that lock” as last song… more dancing…it is more a dance song to me…
The revised set could be addressing the next two gigs and possibly Russia, which is crackdown mode, but the choice of songs is surprising. I can see Underneath but Stay and Broken English don’t mention gender and Fever does. It was still performed.
The reference to the plush dildo is only surprising because he was laughing at that and the “iwannacurglambulge” sign in Shanghai.
I could be way off base here. I don’t want to start any conspiracy theories. Let’s see what HK Fan and Asif have to say.
It was definitely a jolly, upbeat concert. Maybe Adam wanted to change the feel of his set.

TLKC, Do you remember what song he was singing when your live stream came on? In the beginning it kept stopping and restarting, but he was definitely not over an hour late. He began the show in the usual way with IIHY
It was TFM. It was 8:10 and it says above that the show was starting a 8:00 am EST. When I saw it black I assumed it hadn’t started yet. That’s why I said the set list was so changed.

OOPS 7:00 am EST. I saw 8:00 somewhere. The stream was black at 8:00 though. Guess I signed on during a back-out part.

I only started to see the livestream at “naked love”… and after that, one surprise after the other…

I have heard that Russia is being a bit tough on public expression of LGBTQ sensibilities at the moment so I thought he might tone I down but, again, I have no idea whether it’s a big deal there or “same old same old.”
Just listening to “Shout” and TFM. Sounds so very good. I really hope there will be quality video.
@glamidol says they have some HQ videos. BTW, the police started taking away cameras at one point and Adam stuck up for the fans. It may not have helped though. We’ll have to see.

I think that it did help when Adam stuck up for the fans. In the beginning the stream kept going off and when it came back on you could see that she was holding the camera down and we could just get the audio. Later it was much better.
@rs… thank you very much … still there was Chokehold… I must have missed it because I was on the phone… So Chokehold, Time for Miracles, Shout, Is this love… ok… this will be a good (but not ideal) compensation for a lack of underneath/stay/broken english… at least for me…

It was sooooo good.
Not that big a crowd, maybe 2000? and all crowded towards the front. Lots of young people.
The show started 25mins late, but that is pretty much on time by HK standards!!
IIHY was great, really upbeat, a great way to start the show. Lots of people seemed to know all the words to the songs so that was good that they were real fans.
Loved naked love, and especially cuckoo, although still couldn’t see the legs properly in the dancing at the beginning. Lots of cheers for the dancing parts, a rather drunk girl behind me kept shouting, Adam Lambert you’re f***ing gorgeous…
Shout was great, my friends that were with me have seen Tears for fears live, and they said Adam sang it better.
And then TFM…..couldn’t believe we got that, and while it was great and everyone sang along, my heart did drop just a little as I knew he would be dropping either Stay or Underneath, unfortunately it was both, so that was a bit disappointing. But only to me, not to the others that didn’t know he’d been singing them. The Is this love went down very well too, that was one of friends favourite of the night.
The skit bit was much better live than I thought it would be, apart from the getting dressed bit. Found my eyes on Terrance for all of that bit, he has such cute dimples.
Oh we got a new outfit, the long black waistcoat, that was short and cut out in the back with red. I could see all the tattoos really clearly, they looked great.
Loved the section with the top hat and fringes. That was my friends favourite part of the show. Fever was excellent, don’t think it was really toned down that much, still lots of the same choreography, they did a part where they were all on the floor though. Its just such a great song live, so much fun.
The girls sounded a bit off during WWFM, Adam sounded great
My friend thought that Keisha was much better as a singer, and said she thought Reyna was off a couple of times.
She loved Johnny, thought he had a great body. And said at one point she felt that Adam looked straight at her and she could feel herself blushing.
There was a group of maybe 6 ‘gay looking’ young men standing not far behind us ,Adam noticed them and called them out for looking so cute, asked them to leave their details with the security….
……He did kick a couple of fur, i’m assuming pr**ks back into the crowd and said, this is a family show, but he was laughing…didn’t stop him saying it was as hot as balls in there though.
It was great when he told the security off. They had been fighting their way through the crowd to get people to stop recording. Adam went off stage briefly, then came back on and told them off, and said let everyone take pics and things, said they were putting him off, and threw a towel in their direction, swore at them a few times. Everyone che0ered.
He interacted with a couple of bananas, then a huge stuffed banana,. Someone gave him a bib/top thing black and yellow with a sparkling eye of horus and hia name on I think, he put it on and wore it for the band intros.
When he came out in the fringe thing, he had the coat hangar hanging from the back…don’t know how obvious it was from the front, but I was towards the side and could see it clearly. He obviously didn’t know it was there, luckily Reyna noticed and took it off when they came on the stage before he went down the stairs, they had a laugh about it.
My friend who came with me to the GNT, said she thought this one was better. My other friend who only knew a couple of his songs, said she thought he was gorgeous, amazing voice, but doesn’t necessarily like the music he does.
And the 2 males friends who joined us, and who were far from fans, didn’t know why they were going, admitted he was pretty good, and had a great voice!
HK Fan, thanks so much for getting back to us so quickly. I watched the stream and thought of you the whole time. We couldn’t see very much so we will have to wait for pics to see the new clothes, but the sound was great. In the beginning it cut out a lot, especially during IIHY, Naked Love, and Cuckoo, but later it got better. I am so glad that you had a great time. I would love to see (and hear) him sing Is This Love live. Are you going to Singapore? Someone said that you are, but I hadn’t heard that.
@HK fan… that was a fast and detailed recap… I am sure I cannot be that fast… have to beat the traffic to get to my place and my laptop…and that can take some hours..
What I like is when you mentioned the reaction of your friends… were they casual fans or not really fans or hard core Glamberts ?
