Holiday events continue as Adam joins Ryan Tedder and One Republic and Hedley for Star 101.3’s Jingle Ball at The Warfield in San Francisco. This radio-sponsored concert is to benefit the Alliance for Lupus Research. The charity auction included a Meet & Greet with Adam with $6,350.00 being the winning bid.
According to tweets from Jon Manuel of Star 101.3, Heldey will begin the concert at 7:30 PM PST and Adam will go on at 8 PM (ish). It looks like One Republic will close the show.
We should have videos and dinner and a few ALLers will be in attendance to provide recaps!
So to get in the holiday spirit, spice up some eggnog with rum, get a plate of holiday cookies and toss some tinsel on your monitor.

I must say that Adam’s eyes sparkle whenever he flashes that dazzling smile of his.
It was interesting how David Wild used the adjective “sweet” with regard to Adam (December thread). That characteristic is probably, considering how he’s presented, a shock to those who get to know him.
But I think that those of us who love him have known this from the beginning. And one of the reasons, perhaps, why I/we tend to be protective of him.
As his mother said – he was like sunshine coming into the room. Extraordinary personality.

1. We didn’t know quite what to expect, as it was a “Jingle Ball” and because he was putting so much time in on rehearsals, etc. for the Diva Show. But when he walk out on that stage, all doubt went away! He looked magnificent. The black and yellow jacket always looks beautiful on videos but on stage, under the lights it was just incredible. He could not have looked any better. The crowd went going crazy.
It was a short set but was every bit worth the 6 hour drive from So. Calif. Hearing every one of his songs uncountable times before is never like hearing him live. His voice was full, clear, and oh so beautiful. His persona was so happy, joyful and without a care in the world except to entertain us.
He stopped at one point an address the sad happenings in Connecticut. He was so articulate and sincere and said all we could do is love one another – then he sang “Is This Love”. Wow, can that guy work a crowd.
2. It was interesting to observe the crowd. Everyone around us was totally into Adam, however, with the exception of a few of us, our area seem like a younger crowd. Between acts, I past out a few of Jlurks DVDs and the peeps seems thrilled to get them. However, when One Republic came on our section, really went crazy. Many sang along and knew all the word to their songs, etc. It was a good cross over crowd and I think the two of them would make great touring partners.
3. The total experience was made so much more personal and grander by meeting and sharing with other glamberts. Seven of us were staying at the same hotel so we got together for lunch (Jlurks, Ladybugs, Risky Lady and husband, and us, retjenny and Mr Retjenny. That evening we met with several others (I think we totaled 15) for dinner. Kathy (madnessinmotion) had arranged for a lovely place to meet. And, has been my experience from before, it only takes about two minutes before you feel like you have been friends forever. Thank you Mr. Adam Lambert for giving us that unexpected pleasure.

Thanks for the great recap, retjenny! I’m so glad that it was such a fantastic show and that all you ALLers had such a great time together! Adam did look and sound spectacular that night from what we could tell on video, and I bet he was 10 times better in person.
