Wow. Watched the vidz. Was hoping for better quality ones, we are soooo spoiled, where were the TALC ladies? However, these were quite tasty indeed.
Looking and sounding great. Loved the suit, loved what was in it and his VOICE. The songz. Killer.
LOL leave it to youmils to find that loose thread. now personally I would not want any scissors or clippers or nippers near that delicate area.

I would never have seen that thread without your help. Agree with glambotgram on the clippers but a slow unravelling might be interesting.

Ok, here goes, a little recap while I try to stay awake for the Morongo stream!
Thru emails, and Little Dutchess’s research, we (me, risky hubby, Little Dutchess and the Duke, and delightful Floridagirl with daughter and friend) decided to meet around 4:30 to 5 at Spri’s in the Lincoln Road pedestrianised mall for early dinner before the show.
We all arrived within around 15 mins of each other and had a great leisurely Italian dinner, lots of wine and sangria and chatter. (Nice place, good food, good service, good prices!)
Then we decided to head separately for the line at the theatre, only a short two-block walk away. Waited for doors to open in a raging lightening storm, fearing for our lives and sharing umbrellas with those less fortunate, until FINALLY they let us in. Chatted with Glamberts in line, amazing others with our tales of travels to multiple AL and QAL concerts, and the gorgeous voice and person they were about to experience
Once inside (very disorganised event) we found Duke and Dutchess and looked for VIP area, totally unmarked. Turned out to be some white leather couches around the catwalk where the swimwear show would be, and where Adam’s band was set up, so Duke and Dutchess ran in that area and found seats. Hubby and I decided to sit in the cheap seats, 2nd row, just facing the catwalk with a very good view.
Anyway, later found out Floridagirl and party were also in cheap seats just one section over.
The venue was filled with loads of stylish hot young Fla girls and guys, a club atmosphere with a VERY VERY LOUD VIBRATING BASS DJ playing songs no one ever heard before or since lol (the usual hip hop crap they love down here but unrecognisable)! Why oh why did I not bring earplugs???
There were also plenty of stylish 30- and 40- somethings and a sprinkling of some older Glamberts. Diverse crowd, noisy and schmoozing and enjoying free drinks and snacks.
Finally, after the bone crushing DJ session, the bikini show got underway. We noticed that Little Dutchess and the Duke had relocated to another white couch area just in front of us, and waved to them. Getting packed now, lots of people standing, and the cheap seats filling up. I had been on Twitter with kinkykiedis and Glambot, and kinky apparently knew someone who had seen the set list and let me know we were getting 5 songs!!!!! I immediately texted the rest, because our most optimistic guess had been 4, or even just 3, so we were thrilled!!
Finally, the moment arrived, and out came the very beautiful Adam. He got right down to business with Ghost Town, striding forward on the catwalk and putting all the cute male models we had seen to absolute shame. Sounding GREAT, even though making gestures to his sound guy, but to us perfect.
Did I say he looked beautiful? Got a great reception too. Flirting and eye beaming the crowd pressed in around the catwalk. Next was TOH, fabulous with that hiiiiigh note (lots of screams), then WWFM, gorgeous (crowds always seem to love this), ALN where his voice just shimmers so beautifully. Ended with a very rockish version of EITN.
His voice sounded just amazing. Later, risky hubby told me he liked all these songs on the album, but that hearing them live was just otherworldly – how they just took on another dimension and blew him away, so vibrant! And it’s true – the voice just surrounds you and you’re “with” him. It’s that infinity thing!
Back in the theater seats where we were there were tons of youngish people, clapping, screaming, grooving too. I think it went over very well. Heard some singing along to GT, TOH and WWFM.
The TOH video has the most views now, followed by GT. I think it’s a toss up between that and ALN for eventual 2nd single.
After the show, met up with Duke and Dutchess who had had a mishap (I’ll let her fill in details if she wishes to), and briefly saw Floridagirl who headed to the after party at the Delano.
We decided to go for coffee, water and dessert back at Lincoln Road and ended up closing the restaurant lol. Overall, a fun night and lovely concert of new music by our BB

Love your “little” recap, riskylady. Whether little or big these recaps really really make it seem like we were there. So glad you decided to “press the button” and go.
And yes, there is just no substitute for live. When I listen to TOH on my ipod I miss that extra very high note at the end. Wonder why he didn’t do it in the studio? Maybe Max thought it would be too much. Well, no….

Thanks, riskylady! Love hearing all the details. Makes it real. The pre-show rain reminded me of the “flash-flood” before Chicago’s QAL concert. Adam always manages to bring the sun, though.
riskylady– Thanks so much for your great recap. It sounds like it was quite an event in spite of the DJ session. It’s too bad cher had to miss it but I’m glad the rest of you were able to go.
