It’s night number two of 3 consecutive nights in Tokyo, Japan at the Shibuya Public Hall. Last night, the Japanese crowd was so respectful that we got to actually hear a pin drop during Adam’s amazing performance of “Stay/Underneath”. He may try to get the security and audience to loosen up a bit tonight. This venue has a capacity of 2084 and is SOLD OUT.
The show is scheduled to begin at 7 PM Tokyo time (5 AM EST, 2 AM PST).

This short international tour will take Adam to 16 dates in 10 countries during the next 5 weeks, ending in Helsinki, Finland on March 22.

    Whew! As I pick my self up from the puddle on the floor and gather my thoughts… I am so thankful for the respectful and quiet Japanese fans who let us listen to these masterpieces uninterrupted by screams and shouts of “Adam, I love you” and “Adam, marry me!”. He just gets betterer and betterer. And I am once again in awe of his incredible enunciation that lets us hear and understand every word of the songs. This video was especially good in that respect.

Of course, when Rihanna sings it, it sounds like a completely different song, without any of the emotion or beauty of Voice that that Adam gives, which is what lifts it up to a completely different and magnificent level.

    Hi HK fan!

    Thank you for the YouTube link. I think this might be my favorite version yet! Sounds to me as though he sang both songs a bit … just a bit … less introspectively but instead used his voice more “full out”. Maybe it’s just me. He sounded great. Love the slightly different ending of “Underneath”.

    I’m very impressed by the respect shown by these audiences during the quieter songs. That’s how it should be!

    I hope that all of the music store shelves that were stocked full of brand new Trespassing CD’s today in China have been left bare by the end of the day!

    I wasn’t my usual sharp and smooth self … Smile … because TLKC kept ladling vodka down my throat all afternoon! So I was a bit dull around the edges. Laugh

    I have a little confession to make…I have never heard Rihannas version of Stay……which is actually a bit odd as I have a lot of her songs on my ipod, think she’s great. Maybe it just hasn’t found its way on to MTVAsia and channel V yet!!! will try and give it a listen soon.

    I KNOW!!!!! I literally jumped up and down when I heard that!!! I do believe Brian saw the tweet – it would have been about 8:50 a.m. their time, and I checked and no one else had tweeted Adam or him about that (Adam gets so many, he wouldn’t notice, and truthfully, I think very few even realized/cared). I didn’t want to tweet Adam and appear to be correcting him, either. YAY!!

    I love the way Adam is tweeting out lots of pics and vids from these last shows. I think he is happy with the way it is going.

    This FYE much better than last night, but, IMO, needs to be sped up slightly with a heavier beat. Someone suggested more of a backing track.

    That Fever, though, is great – love the times he says, “oooh!” – so funny.
