    Thanks, AL! Glambotgram is joining us too. I just got home a couple of days ago from a two week camping trip in Colorado. I didn’t have access to WiFi there. Since I got home, I’ve shown extraordinary self discipline (for me) by not watching any concert videos or listening to any Adam music. Having a dry spell just before the concert will increase the effect of the sensory assault that I’ll be experiencing tonight. Needless to say, I can’t wait! I report back after the show once I’ve recovered my ability to form a coherent sentence.

    in DC last night was so full of energy & rock superlativeness-the audience was bubbling over with love & appreciation for this iconic band and their music. Can’t find a more talented/charismatic front man than Adam!

    And the hilarious “fan fail” – here’s where his stage training showed up, but, actually, his innate humor and sense of the ridiculous were there, too – showman to the core – rara avis, indeed –

    DC show recap:
    There weren’t any earthquakes in DC on Tuesday night, but it was HOT (99 degrees) and only got hotter once the show got started! The show was spectacular! It is definitely the best version of QAL ever. It was high energy and fast paced with a perfect setlist. The stage set, visuals, costumes and lighting were mind bogglingly good. And of course, Adam, Brian, Roger and the band were tighter than ever and gave their usual outstanding performances.

    Some of the things I really liked about the show: Adam singing Killer Queen on the piano. Adam on the motorcycle. Adam’s fringes and jackets! (Gasp!) The setlist, especially some of the new additions like Machines. Adam no longer being called “the new guy” and apologizing for not being Freddie. (It’s about time!)

    The DC audience was really enthusiastic, singing and cheering throughout. They gave Adam as much love as they gave Brian and Roger. We were sitting in the first tier directly across from the B stage. Our section was on its feet for most of the show. Glambotgram, adamized, her friend and I drove into DC and had dinner together before the show. Adamized’s friend grew up in England near Manchester and has always been a Queen fan. This was her first Queen concert and she was properly blown way! She said that she was glad that she was also going another show (Philadelphia) because it was too much to take in and really appreciate in one show. I certainly agree with that! Our next show is in Philadelphia and then I’m joining more ALLers in NYC for the 2 MSG shows next week.

    I was in the front row at the Capital One Center in DC. I have been going to concerts for more than 40 years. You and Queen were the best I have ever seen, bar NONE!!! Great tribute to Freddie by the way. Thank you!
