Queen + Adam wrap up the North American portion of their tour with a second show at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. After tonight, the band will enjoy a two week break before a series of concert dates in Asia and the South Pacific. Numerous ALLers will be in attendance tonight, enjoying the 24th and final North American date of this once in a lifetime tour. We ALL know y’all will have a great time!

Yep rs This one instagram got about 7 of us in one shot. Mils, tlkc, riskylady, my niece, my oldest sister, myself and a lurker here who used to be bessiedim on MJs.

How did you get to stand by the stage? Same nice security lady again?
rs All the security people were nice to us from the beginning. We had seats on the floor and went about 7pm and got our positions early. Mils and tlkc were talking to security peeps as soon as they got there. I was at Bruno Mars the night before and I had told this one security guy that I was coming back the next night and he remembered me. Mils and tlkc got their positions early and then everyone else started to come try to squeeze in. One lady came and squeezed me out of my position but those girls to the left of me made space for me again since I was there before them. the 3 of them were superlucky because the event was sold out, they ended up buying those floor seat tickets outside the box office for $100 each! Nice young ladies. We all had a blast and that concert was rocking! Adam was very perky and superhappy. Needless to say we had our suspicions why.
Fantastic concert. Had so much fun with our preshow dinner and of course the afterparty. Met glambotgram for the first time too. We invited two new people to join our blog so let’s see what happens. Will post more tomorrow but maybe by the time mils and nekkid post I won’t have anything else to add.

All the security people in Toronto were super nice to us at the first Toronto concert, too, but I think it was selective. There was a guy who had a seat in our row who wanted to come stand near the small stage, to,o and they made him go back to his seat. Sexism? or because men are too tall?
@Cher and rs… So much fun reading your postings in the MSG-thread and also all those reviews in the New Jersey thread… So good to meet Hakuna Matata with whom I saw Adam’s concert (at 11.30 pm) and Daughtry concert (at 6 pm) 4 years ago.. (time flies)…
Due to “real life” and a temporary memory loss about my password to this website I could not comment on the other threads but I am back now… just in time for QAL last concert in North America..
The last half of dinner” became background music during my real life breakfast on the small terrace at my place on a sunny Tuesday morning… Really liked the singalong and squealed when they sang Dragon Attack and TSMGO…
How time flies… The other day the North American QAL seem so far away and now they are over… So happy to be able to be a “cybergroupie” of the “Other Guy” and read the comments and reviews of the ALL-ers… Thank you to AL and eywflyer and mlg and all the moderators of this website…

The show: what can I say that hasn’t already been said? So glad that a lot of you were able to listen to the live feed. Queen and Adam were on fire and Toronto gave them a North American send-of that was fit for a Monarch.
I gave two tickets to Glambert newbies. They had both seen Adam on Idol and one of them had fallen in love with Adam on Glee this season. Neither had seen him live and they were both blown away. It was wonderful to hear what they had to say after the concert.
One of them said something particularly interesting: if Freddie were alive today, his 70-year-old voice would not have been able to deliver the songs the way they were meant to be sung. Adam was perfect for NOW. (Of course we know that but, as Ron would say, it is validating to hear it from a newbie fan.)
It was wonderful to share our fair city with so many ALL-ers. Safe trip home to the travellers and y’all come back now, y’hear?
SAME TIME NEXT YEAR…….to be continued….right?
Just my own limited opinion but, of the four concerts I attended, Toronto July 13th had the best sound. A lot depends on where you sit in the venue, though.

Nicky It was SO great to meet you and wish we’d realized before the concert started that it was you right there beside us. During the show we did recognize that a highly competent videographer was our seatmate
! We were so happy with our seat location – fantastic view of all the stage action – yum!
I’m still on cloud 9 after the concert experience of my life!!! IMO, it was the best of the 4 that I attended. Adam was so confident, happy and obviously
well-satisfied. That Toronto crowd were so very appreciative, loud and demonstrative too – gave Adam and Queen so much love

angelowal: I wish I had known also that you were from ALL before the show. I got to my seat a bit later than usual so I was just trying to get my camera set to go. It was a great view, unfortunately Adam’s platform boot got a bit in the way while he was lying on the couch in Killer Queen! lol
I saw 4 shows, and they were all amazing, a different vibe to them all and there was something special about each one. But yesterday was ridiculously great. The audience was so loud and responsive, and there was so much love shown! I think “cloud 9” was pretty packed last night. I came with some girlfriends of mine who had never seen Adam. They could not fully understand my ongoing “appreciation” for Adam for these last few years, but I told them they needed to see this show and all their questions would be answered. Needless to say they were all blown away by him and were just as excited and happy as I was after the performance. They are all converted now, and now “believe” what I had been telling them all along. Better late than never!
