Queen + Adam play their second show at the SummerSonic 2014 event in Japan. Tonight’s show takes place on the Marine Stage in Tokyo, and is scheduled to begin around 730 PM Sunday evening local time (630 AM Sunday morning EDT). The show is expected to last around 90 minutes, with a somewhat shortened set list compared to the North American concerts.

Adam’s reaction is really funny. This is a milder version of the split pants from London, which also totally cracked him up. It’s a good thing he doesn’t take himself too seriously.

Watching riddle’s IWBTLY just before I go to bed. I had seen other videos of the song but not this one. Here you can really hear what Brian says and it is so great!
And the way Roger gets up from his seat and gestures and points to Adam when Brian says that. It is so great!
Agree with you, rs – think this song expresses his joy at being on a stage and feeling all that love flowing back to him. The more I listen to it, and note his gestures, the more convinced I am that his boyhood wish of being able to perform the rest of his life is now being fulfilled – and this song tells that story.

Overall .. I like riddle’s CLCL one. The zippergate is at the beginning and then the rest everybody was fun and crazy. Adam was high on Red Bull .. Brian was running around after Adam. Veggies are not enough for Brian. He has better drink more of Adam’s blood.
Adam has brought the new meaning of this song … the Crazy Little Thing Called Love to the band … Bond and band together with so much .. Love, fun and let loose crazy.

I noticed in that WATC video that CNB posted, that Roger is visibly panting/breathing hard at the end of the song for the bows…..haven’t noticed that before, he always looks so calm.

Got the thread updated with embedded videos and a few other items. Sorry for the delay, I’ve been on night shifts and just woke up a little while ago. Deliberated between embedding riddle601b or vanglam76 videos for a while as they are both very good quality, finally decided to go with riddle’s for the most part. I agree with everything you said, and you said it so well. This song is like a group hug. I must have listened a dozen times by now.
I’m holed up in a Chicago hotel room at the moment, catching up on the Tokyo show after flying to Chicago today for work-related meetings over the next couple of days. *waves at whoever is nearby!*
I agree many of you about IWBTLY. I find myself wanting to watch and listen to it over and over again, not because the song itself is all that earthshattering, but because of the way Adam performs it. He soars through the choruses with such joy, elation, and love for the audience. From the “I love you so much” at the beginning (OMG that voice!), to the blowing kisses when he’s in the crowd, to the broad smiles throughout, it’s obvious that he’s singing it to us, his fans. It really pulls me in, touches me, and I share his joy and love. ETA – yes turquoisewaters it IS like a group hug!

The zipper incident is priceless. He is such a crackup when he realizes his zipper is half down and Spike and Neil are cracking up with him. Then comes back in with, “Gotta be cool, relax…” LOL
I checked out the WATC vid. The final climax of that encore is quite strenuous for Roger, so I’m not surprised he’s huffing and puffing a little afterwards, given all of the heat and humidity. It’s much easier to lose your breath in the humidity.
Actually, while watching the encore, I mostly appreciated the opportunity to
oglesee how Adam’s jacket would gape open a little more from time to time, allowing a glimpse of a broader expanse of his chest. Something about the way he gives us these little glimpses of skin without ever revealing all that much is so insanely sexy. Drives me crazy. Makes me want to just rip that jacket wide open. Hhnnnnggghhh.Whew, need to collect myself. *panting over here in the corner*
