Interesting, if my research is right 4 of the new songs were written by Freddie: In the Lap of the Gods (revisited), Stone Cold Crazy, Killer Queen and Love Kills. I see similarities, i.e. clever sophisticated lyrics, amazing melodies with difficult quick jumps from low to high register. I’m sure TLKC or aely can tell me more. I just think that is very interesting and would love to know how it came about.
They are difficult songs to sing! I had a hard time trying to sing along to ITLOTG! So high, then so low!

It came down during Seven Seas of Rhye, Roger and Brian were inside, Adam on the right perch, then it went back up. There are lights on the outer perimeter. Just a lighting effect as far as I could tell.

The lighted circle just raises and lowers a few times. It doesn’t move people. It’s an effect. What may be hard to tell from pics is the sheer enormity of it. The circle is huge. The screen inside of it is huge. When Adam first “pops up” on it , it just takes your breath away.

riskylady, oh, that sounds cool. I know I’m going to be blown away by the show itself not even including the music and singing. I’m pretty sure they won’t have the circle at HR in LV and I know they won’t have the catwalk and smaller stage so I’m glad I finally figured out how to fit LA in so I can see the whole set up.
This 2-hour show seems to go by in a flash when there’s a stream but it seems very long as we sit here looking for pics and hoping for vids.
mils answered already, but no, Brian moved closer to center and the Q lowered from vertical to horizontal.
It does look like a crown risky. I hadn’t looked at it like that until now.
There was a ton of money spent putting this show together, and it shows! It’s amazing!

ultimatethule, I don’t think it was sold out. There were still quite a number of seats showing on the ticketmaster seat map when I checked earlier today. Also the venue has not mentioned a sell out on their social media feeds.
Thanks riskylady! I don’t miss the Florida humidity at all – Hawaii is so much more pleasant year round. There is a hurricane season here but it’s rare for Hawaii to be hit directly by anything significant.
