Queen + Adam Lambert kick off their U.S. summer tour in hot Glendale (Phoenix), Arizona. With the record heat wave, it’s bound to be hot outside the Gila River Arena but it will even be hotter inside as Brian, Roger, Adam and the guys debut a new set list and concert spectacle.

They just keep getting better and better. Loved the setlist Everything seemed to really flow well. Too bad they didn’t sing all of Take My Breath Away. Every new song is amazing. Loved the new arrangements. His voice and Brian’s guitar were made for each other. Also loved Roger on I’m in Love With my Car. I am getting so excited.

nkd so glad you were there in person to enjoy the spectacle! I am not watching anything until Toronto so I can be awed and wowed in the flesh. Still trying to get over the red hair. Unlike glambotgram, I am a shallow horrible person who cannot help but think of Ronald McDonald when I see that particular shade of red. Oh well, I’m sure it will be gone someday.
BTW, I luv “2fuxs”. It reminds me more of a Broadway tune than pop or rock. Very “Adam”. Definitely sticks in your brain after hearing it only once. Not sure if he really does give 2fuxs if it gets any radio play. The Queen gigs have given him the freedom ($money) to do what he wants without worrying about putting bread on the table. Good for him.
