Queen and Adam Lambert end a spectacular 2014 by performing at the Central Hall Westminster as they “Rock Big Ben Live” on the BBC One’s New Years Eve special. The show starts at 11:15 PM and features a 40-minute set before 2015 and the fireworks begin. They are back at 10 minutes after the hour for a short 20-minute set. The show will be viewed by over 14 million on BBC One and streamed live around the world.

    This will stream all over the world. How many people are expected to watch it? Will it beat out Taylor and Ryan Seacrest? Wouldnt that be cool if he is talked about more than those two? Or will the News shows not pick it up and talk about it again?? So here is Adam, Simons worldwide Star! I always think about what his Mom and Dad must feel about all this!     We’re off for our NYE celebration in an hour…40 of us for a late lunch that goes on till about 11….
    We all got fed up going out partying, especially when the boys had to get up early for the New Years Day rugby tournament so we started having an afternoon do instead…5th year now.

    Haven’t worked out how to watch on tv yet, so will probably watch on my laptop. But the good thing with Expat tv is that we can rewatch any programme from the previous 7 days as much as we want…so I will watch on the big screen at some pointSmile

    Well, he will be sharing it with Brian and Roger. The Brits want to see their boys, which if fine with me. BTW Did anybody notice how much camera time Roger got on Helene Fischer’s show? Not complaining. I think it is great, but unusual. The cameras usually focus on Adam and Brian.

    I am so thankful for ALL. No one here knows or cares, so I will be sitting alone by my computer in the middle of the night sharing this epic experience with all of you. Heart Music Note

    Just as Adam keeps topping himself, so does MLG. The poster is S.P.E.C.T.A.C.U.L.A.R.

    I made my own poster for my now cancelled concert. I cut up a cardboard box and wrote ‘Concert’ on it with a crayon. I was going to scotchtape it to the front door of the theater but obviously that effort was all for nothing now.

    mlg– We ALL love you too! That poster is just amazing! It summarizes 2014 perfectly with the added NYE dazzle.

    I’m at my computer eagerly anticipating the party. I loved Brian’s comments about the show. He sounds as giddy as we do. “Live and dangerous” sounds perfect, although isn’t Adam always live and dangerous on stage? I suppose Brian is letting the uninformed know what they’re in for tonight as the venue’s church is converted into the Church of Glamrock.
