This came up before – Does anyone know what Adam means about the high note in DSMN? Why would he have trouble with it, do you think?
“Adam explained: “I had a little bit of trouble with ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’.
“The guys would say, ‘Hey, it’s OK, you don’t have to do it just like the record. Freddie used to modulate down and find ways to make parts easier for himself’.
“But Freddie was allowed to do what he wanted because it was his song. I have a different standard that I’m up against. I have to do the big note or they’re gonna say I can’t cut it.”

I was wondering too about that DSMN, ultimathule. Went back to listen to the song the other day and didn’t hear anything harder than other songs he does.
I have to go on youtube when I can to hear a couple of new songs I’m not familiar with.

So true rs nothing is ever going to satisfy some of the Queen fans. One of the comments is already blasting how Adam will do one of the new songs. Saying it won’t be as good as Freddie and Adam will throw in an unnecessary high note. What a bunch of whiners.
Brian says it is wonderful and as far as I am concerned he and Roger are the only Queen authorities.

Wow! I am reminded of standing in the freezing cold waiting to go into the theater on Nov 29th (risky’s birthday) for the final show of the European GlamNation tour. The whole country was practically shut down because of the early cold wave. The next night we treated Suz to dinner and a show after all her hard work videoing the shows, and it was the first time that she had ever seen snow falling live, California girl that she is, lol.
Off to Scrabble now. Will be back about an hour after the show is scheduled to begin. Ciao. Enjoy
