Hi All,
Haven’t been on the blog for a while, but wanted to post about my experience last night at MSG….Absolutely my worst QAL concert EVER!
The assholes directly behind us talked super loud throughout the concert! They would not SHUT UP!!!! There was one guy who thought he was some sort of Queen expert (Clearly he wasn’t) who was shouting and bragging and spouting off “facts” to his 3 loud idiotic friends, but so loud that he could be heard over the music!!! UGH!! After giving them the stink eye several times by turning around and glaring at them (the universal sign for shut-up!), I actually took my life in my hands, and told them to lower their voices. The idiot apologized, but just kept doing it.
And to make matters worse, we were in section 211, and the way the speakers were hung, they blocked the middle of the jumbotron screen near us, so every time they had a close up of Adam, he was blocked.
I’m watching the videos now (thanks cwm for recording). The concert was amazing… and I was soooo looking forward to it! I’m just so frustrated and disappointed that I couldn’t experience it the way it was meant to be.
I won’t be there tonight, but I’ll try and live vicariously through those who can!

Had a similar experience at Toronto 1 in 2014.
But we were on the thrust and ended up moving, sliding over.
I remember recapping it at the time. Young people talking sooo loud and screaming in my ear. After many harsh looks I said something and their response was ” well. We bought tickets too.”
I was with rs, and we ended up moving as far from them as we could, closer to Adam anyway.
Last night’s show was outstanding!!! The sound mix and acoustics were perfect and Adam’s voice was pristine! cwm and I were in the first row of the risers and had an excellent unobstructed view of the whole stage. We have seats on the floor tonight. Luval was in our section in a higher row. She’s going to the show with us again tonight. I’m excited! MSG is such a special venue.
