After a great show (the best so far according to some multiple concert goers) in Leeds, Queen + Adam head southwest to Manchester. Manchester is rich in music history with bands like The Smiths, Oasis, Herman’s Hermits and the Bee Gees getting their start there. Let’s see if tonight is historic for Queen and Adam. And while we wait for the concert why not relive a song that Adam sang during his German “Hair” tour: Manchester, England, England!

    While we’re on the subject of pants, may I say, as a dressmaker/tailor, the plaid pants annoy me greatly. I love them but why, oh why don’t the stripes match at the centre front and back seams. My fingers itch to make a pair for him correctly. Perhaps I shouldn’t complain. Maybe it just gives me an excuse to study them.

    I just love DSMN from the Manchester show! That was a crackin performance of that song! So much infectious energy and joy! And spot-on musicianship.

    And how in the world does Adam manage to keep singing while taking a selfie with someone else’s phone? He’s amazing! I love that moment and watching that woman’s and her friend’s reactions during and afterward, throughout the rest of the song.

    Just finally working my way through the videos…..the quality of the contradove ones above are great, but they keep focusing on Brian and missing key Adam parts…..thats probably why the viewing numbers are a bit low.

    Agree HK fan. I also don’t like vids that cut off any part of the acapella at beginning of Save Me, or vids with noisy people talking or singing over Adam, unless that’s all we have. Difficult, cause there are soooo many of these shows! May not have so many choices over on the continent!

    Haha thanks AL for posting riddle’s video of DSMN! This one allows us to see Adam’s face during the selfie, whereas the other video allows us to see the woman’s reaction.

    No wonder he ends up looking like such a goof in the selfie – he crossed his eyes on purpose. He’s such a riot.

    Bless riddle’s heart – what a gift to the fandom! It’s great because riddle, like TALC, catches all of the Adam action and also catches all of his banter. For example, we can now hear Adam’s banter at the beginning of STL, which is very cute.
