The Queen+Adam Lambert mini-tour wraps up tonight at the 3rd and final HMV Hammersmith Apollo show. After a fierce first night and a sensationally sexy second night where Adam was finally able to “break free”, we wonder what is in store for the lucky Queen and Adam fans in attendance. The concert is scheduled to begin at 8 PM London time (3 PM Eastern time, 12 PM Pacific time) but may go on for hours in celebration of the last show. Cross your fingers that we may see some special guests!

To all of the wonderful folks from this site attending this last London Queen + Adam show – remember these very special events and have a blast!
And a special thank you to the many videographers, photographers and tweeters who share the live experience with those who are unable to be there! Bravo!

Holy smokes, turquoisewaters – that’s an incredible list – will have so much fun going through all of those performances again. Really appreciate your doing this.

  2. turquoisewaters says:

cwm: I am compiling my own virtual concert, so I wanted to have at least one link for ever Adam-song. Mostly it was good video with at least okay sound. I would like to make a CD as well, so any high quality sound links are highly appreciated. I am certain there is more out there.
    ultimathule: You are very welcome.

  3. turquoisewaters says:

Those stardustcupcakesuk videos that glambotgram posted are excellent. Will need to add to list.
ETA: Not the complete set (yet?), but the sound is great!

    Hello peeps!

This Queenbert is finally back to homeland. After afternoon nap I took my laptop and updated myself in twitter – it took the whole evening Grin I read some great reviews of concerts and watched the whole 14th evening show by riddle601b. Adam was crazy good that evening I would say! And watching the show brought into my mind my own experience being there. Combining the memory of my experience (dancing and living in it totally) + having a close look at Adam’s expressions and performance on video + his beautiful voice = I became overwhelmed by emotions. How can I return back to the reality? I was holding back in London because I wanted to have a holiday and visit London with my bf too (and wifi was slow/down), but now than I am alone it all came like tsunami…

I liked Queen’s music a lot before that, but with Adam’s presence and interpretation I JUST LOVE it. I’ve felt like this since Kiev but London was top. I want CD I want DVD… Just have to find out what is a best quality video (have to wait Talc coming too). I think the ones I watched were quite good.

  15. LolaGlamb says:

Hello everyone, LolaGlamb here. Just emerging from the dead after my Queenberting in London, and am under orders by Cher to catch up on the blog. Yes, I am still kicking after my week in the London hospital with pneumonia. However, I had the best 2 night cure ever with BB and my fellow glamberts on the 11th and 12th. It was so great meeting so many more Glamberts, whom I’ve previously only known by name. As one said, it was great to be amongst so many who understood our magnificent obsession, and not to have to refrain from blurting ‘Adam-isms’ every other sentence. Ahhh, to be able to flail to my heart’s content…and to meet other Glamberts even nuttier than I…twas a consumation devoutly to be cherished!

Thank you everyone for the well wishes while I was in the hospital. It was dreadful and dreary and I do not wish that particular experience on anyone, but in the end, they probably saved my life. Then Adam took care of the rest. However, if life is just, I have earned the right to meet him! He comes to Arizona in October, so I am hoping against hope. Anyone out there planning to come to Arizona to see him?
Love to you all, and thanks for the links. Also thanks to Jlurk for the gift which was waiting for me when I arrived home. You are such a doll. Oh yes, and also waiting for me when I got home was my long awaited Flaunt magazine. Riches!

Al, here is part 2 of July 12th show full 30 mins.
Someone needs to embed these before they take them down. He’s getting harassed for them by the copyright owner.

  17. LolaGlamb says:

Cher, for some reason on both of those I get video but no sound. I know what a techno whiz you are, Cher, but does anyone have any idea why that is happening?

  18. cher says:

I get sound fine lolaglamb. Turn up your volume or maybe your mute button is on. Or go directly to youtube and play there.
BTW everyone, Lolaglamb developed pneumonia in London and was hospitalized for almost a week. We almost had to kidnap her out of the hospital for the shows. Luckily they let her out in time. There was even a name for the kidnap operation.
Operation Queenbert. Grin Our peeps are too funny. She said she would crawl to the concert if she had to and she almost did. She had to have oxygen on the plane to come home. Cry

    Cher
, I can embed them but it does not ensure that the videos will be available later if the videos are taken down for any reason. They would need to be saved somewhere besides youtube to be sure that they are around for later. I am curious why he is being harassed since there are thousands of Queen+Adam videos out there from all the concerts.

    LolaGlamb
, I have sound on both of these videos. Not sure why you don’t. Maybe exit your browser and restart then try the videos again. You can try clearing your cache (viewing history and cookies) too. Just read the posts above. Sorry to hear about your illness but glad that you made it to the concert and home now to recover.

Al I guess because they are uninterrupted vids. He said a couple others have already been removed but not these yet. Says his computer is slow to upload. Will take a couple days for the remaining 3 parts. @Galechester said his photobucket embedding only allows 10 mins max. He has EMA vids on there that were removed from youtube yet he has them preserved there.

  21. cher says:

Al @Galechester said to try Vimeo, but I’m too technodunce for that. Can u?

  22. dcglam says:

Ah LolaGlamb….. I’m so happy to hear that this story has a happy ending and you were able to make the Queenbert concerts in London! There is definitely something to be said for the expression, “If there is a will, there is a way.”
I’m sure your motivation played a big part in your recovery. Keep doing well! Kiss

  23. AL says:

Al @Galechester said to try Vimeo, but I’m too technodunce for that. Can u?

Basic Vimeo has file size and upload limitations. About 4 of those 30 minute vids max. and only one HD can be uploaded per week. Of course if we pay, we get more file space and unlimited HD uploads. It’s something that we can discuss with eywflyer so that videos are saved.

I tried using my MediaFile account but it seems that the file can only be downloaded and not viewed online at least on my system.
    http://www.mediafire.com/?lw5qu6caz9aqqqw

ETA Cher, I moved your post about the Australia sell out to the main thread for July 2012. Trying to keep non-concert related discussion in that thread.

  24. glambotgram says:

Cher can he rename them kind of like TSTMNBN?

  25. milwlovesadam says:

lolaglam, so sorry to hear of your illness, it wasn’t exactly the trip you had planned, but, now that you are on the road to recovery and saw two shows, I’m sure you’ll be much better soon.

  26. milwlovesadam says:

cher, thanks for the pic. You forgot to mention that there was a little tummy too!

  27. cher says:

I don’t know Glambotgram I’ll tell him. Thanks

  28. LolaGlamb says:

TY all for the well wishes. I made a batch of home-made chicken soup, and my granddaughter made fry bread, so I’ve been babying myself while catching up on the blog/vids/reviews. It is so exciting to read all of the glowing reviews out of London. I love it when others discover the wonderful awesomeness that is Adam.

  29. ultimathule says:

Well, nkd – guess we know now which side he “dresses” on.

  32. rs says:

LolaGlamb, so glad to know that you made it home in one piece after your ordeal. I can vouch for how sick you were. I saw you in the hospital! But you got yourself well in time for the two shows. Nothing could keep you away. I guess all the excitement was too much, since I heard about the problems at the airport. Poor baby. But knowing you, you are saying that it was all worth it. Anyway, take care of yourself, drink lots of chicken soup, (my grandmother used to call it her penicillin) and get strong for the next round of BB’s concerts.

  33. rs says:

I just read glambertha’s recap from the show. I remember when you left the dinner to go camp out in line in the cold and rain and we thought “how good it is to be young!” It sure paid off for you. I saw that cute wave from Adam and I am so glad that it was to such a loyal and deserving fan such as you. YAY! Clap

LolaGlamb So fry bread needs to be entered on my list of sick cures??!! I live in the midwest near a lot of Native American reservations (I also live with one) and we used to do Indian tacos with fry bread. LOVE LOVE the stuff.

  44. LolaGlamb says:

Here is my poor recap, such as it is, in response to a friend who also got quite ill over there:

S______, you definitely have my sympathies, and empathy! Sounds like you were about as sick as I was. Since u didn’t die, your decision not to go to emergency room was surely the right one. There were times in the hospital that I thought the cure was going to kill me! If I could have breathed, I would have been out of there in a minute. My whole family returned to the US sicker than they’d been in years; brother, brother and sister-in-laws, 3 friends. Surely does put a dent in the holiday, doesn’t it?

However, like you, I wouldn’t have missed Queen n Adam for the world, and it made up for everything. I’m afraid I was still a bit too shaky to have enjoyed the dinner as much as I would have liked, but I had a wonderful chat with Cher’s nephew, and with M–y, Alletieb, D—–y, and M–g, saw my beloved rbcglj again, and was able to say hi to so many others. I met some Lambrits, even if they didn’t sell me a magazine! Sweet Karen who got us all the Queen/Adam bands The food, after a week of hospital vomit, was wonderful, too.

What can I say about the concerts that everyone hasn’t already said, and better than I? They were so wonderful. Adam was especially good on the 12th, after he apparently felt his way a bit more cautiously on the 11th. His renditions of Who Wants to Live Forever, The Show Must Go On, Another One Bites the Dust, and Fat Bottomed Girls were stand outs for me. I saw Tommy, Sauli, Leila, Danielle in the lounge before the concert. Agata and I were hanging out, and wouldn’t have dreamed of bothering them. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of some other Glamberts, and it was a bit embarrassing to see them try to insinuate themselves into that group. Oh well.

I guess this is as close to a recap as I’ll get done. I did get some wonderful sightseeing in before I got sick; Westminster Abby, The Tower, Harrods, Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus, Kensington Palace. And one of my favorites, Hyde Park. Then we had a whirlwind tour of England, Scotland, Ireland, and Wales.
Anyway, wonderful to meet so many heretofore unknown Glamberts, and to reconnect with old friends. Now enjoying Adams new concerts, and still praying that others will discover the wonderful person who brings us all together. Oh yeah, two new Glamberts have been born in my family-gave cd’s to my sis-in-law and her friend Stephanie, and she called yesterday to thank me, said she’s been playing it none stop, loves every song on it. Yay!!! LolaGlamb
