Queen history at Hammersmith continued last night and now Adam can add his name to that. After an amazing first night in London, Adam and Queen continue their mini-tour with the second of three shows at HMV Hammersmith Apollo. The final concert will be this Saturday. Scheduled to begin at 8 PM London time (3 PM Eastern time, 12 PM Pacific time), let’s see how they change things up tonight.

That’s just it! There isn’t a moment during that performance that isn’t real. He’s feeling and singing every single moment of that song. It’s one of his very best performances that I’ve ever seen.
You’re right, Ron. And I keep thinking that somewhere just before the Kiev show that someone quoted Adam as saying that he didn’t want to perform AOBTD. Do you (or anyone else) remember anything about that. I was wondering why he wouldn’t want to—unless he felt that it was untouchable.

Um. There has been a death in the family tonight. We need to send our condolences. We need to send flowers. We need to sign a sympathy card. We need to make donations to the proper charity in memory of the dearly departed. We need to gather and console each other in our grief. I would suggest that casserole preparations begin for the reception to follow.
May I suggest the following to honor THE LACES:
1) An e-card. Signed by every Laces loving Glambert.
2) A pictorial memory highlighting every glorious laces moment.
3) A salute to the laces, in poem, haiku or limerick format.
4) A group toast, tip ‘o the glass, knock back a shot of Jack in the name of the laces.
5) A charity donation to the Memorial Laces Fund. So that Adam may never be without them again.
6) A proper leather burial must be had. With a 21 peen salute. And the GlamNation Banner flying. With a flyover drop of glitter for all.
7) Eulogy to be spoken by Adam Lambert.
8 ) Tribute song by Queen.
9) No charges will be filed in the criminal investigation, re: physical abuse causing irreparable damage to leather attire.
10) New reinforced leather laced “pants” shall be provided to Mr. Lambert, and may only be worn during performances after completion of lessons regarding how to care for and not tear leather garments during bumping, grinding, kneeling, floor Berting, rodeo legging, slinking, sashaying, shimmying, kicking, jumping, bouncing, stair laying, stair climbing, stage diving and wailing. Of course, bulging will be tolerated.

Ron, I just watched AOBTD
five times, and wanted you to know that I agree – one of Adam’s finest! My fave part – after the part in mid-song where Adam sings a few notes and the audience copies (yeah, right!) – gave me chills when he broke away from the pack and hit those unbelievable high notes. And what he did with his body – too sexy for any words I can find!I love this tweet so much!
I am still watching “Another One Bites The Dust” on repeat, on repeat, on repeat and more … repeat. I can’t get enough of it!
If only I was a sensible person and could realize I should have gone to bed long ago. But, I’m not. One more view.
I’m not overstating myself when I say that I think this is the best Adam Lambert performance that I’ve ever seen.
I’ll say goodnight here but I am going to watch one more time and will finally put my head on a pillow around 4am.
RECAP. Adam killed it last night. Wednesday was amazing but last night I just can’t tell you. I was GA at the end of the catwalk (check out where Adam’s left hand is in the first photo after the poster – I’m right there.)
I owe that position, in part, to one of mils favourite people – a serious Glambert who I tried to stand behind on the side of the catwalk. She gave me the dirtiest look imaginable when I spoke to her so I thought I had better move to a friendlier spot and found a place between two beefy German Queen fans whose shoulders were so wide they gave me the perfect window. Not a blind spot the whole night.
It was awesome!!! Lot of Queen fans in that vicinity and we had a pretty spirited discussion with them for the 90 minutes waiting time. The guy next to me said that he had only seen Adam on the EMA’s and knew nothing about him and was reserving judgment. He sang every word of every song and told me afterwards that Adam was amazing. He’s going back on Saturday night.
There was a lot of good natured banter with the 30-35 year-old male Queen fans (quite cute, actually) and I was a bit mortified when one middle-aged female Glambert explained what the Glambulge was – she didn’t get that they were laughing at her. But, when Adam came on they didn’t laugh at him – they got totally into it right away.
The two German fans in front of me turned to each other after Fat-Bottomed Girls and nodded their heads up-and-down smiling. He passed the test. (A fan in the balcony told me that an older Queen fan had done his “due-diligence” when Queen announced Adam would be joing them; checking out YouTube videos and buying the cd (FYE I assume)and he acknowledged that Adam was an entertainer but was a bit skeptical. He got up during Fat-Bottomed Girls and never sat down. I would say that FBG was the ice breaker for a lot of Queen fans.
I could have reached out and touched Adam when he came around but I have a cold so I pulled back – no worries: all the Queen fans were lunging for him LOL! A few seemed to want to shake hands – they were older and so British. A handshake is a sign of respect. If there was anyone who wasn’t won over at that point, the pants splitting did it. I never saw so many smiling happy people together in my life,
I brought my 17-year-old nephew and his girlfriend to the concert. They grew up on Queen and knew who Adam was, period. They got an awesome spot on the side of the catwalk and they LOVED him. My nephew’s girlfriend was freaking out – when I asked her how she liked Adam she said: “He had me at his first outfit!”
I told her I’d send her some links and a fan is born….
I don’t know if you know this but a Toronto Glambert phoned another fan in our hotel on Wednesday at midnight and said that she had seen the livestream and was on her way over. She got a last minute flight and made it to yesterday’s show. Last I saw of her she was dancing across the street outside the theatre and still flying high.
We all ended up at MacDonalds – about 20 of us eating laughing and taking pictures and saying good-byes (in our case).
Wish I was staying for Saturday’s concert. A few are changing their flights (Risky Lady, I think, has decided to delay her return) but we’re exhausted. I’ll be watching the livestream on Saturday, thinking of them and of the Queen fan who sang along to every song and decided that Adam was so terrific he was coming back.
IF…..IF you find any gems???? LOL! Adam is the crown jewels!
I can’t describe how great this week has been. The lovefest of meeting all the fans, some of whom I have “known” from the blog for ages and some of whom I just met, and of course, my dear friends.
And the concerts were more than I could have hoped for. GNTs were full of women who knew the songs. Here 50 percent were men cheering him on and clapping and doing all the gestures and swaying. One night I was in the middle of it on the floor and one night I was in the first row balcony watching from above with the best view ever!!!!! Awesome doesn’t begin to describe it.
I wish I could stay for the third show, but I have already changed my ticket twice so unfortunately while the show is going on I will be sitting in Heathrow waiting for my flight. I will have to depend on others for the vids.
I WILL NEVER FORGET THIS WEEK!!!!!!!!!

As soon as I saw the ripped pants, I thought of you. I know u can salvage those pants. A hot iron could maybe melt them back together with a smidge of gorilla glue. If this doesn’t work, black duct or electrical tape may prevail. Duct tape can fix anything. I suggest that Adam mail those pants to you!

The ladies from TALC were able to get tickets for Saturdays show so there will be vids and pics. Only downside is their hotel internet is really slow.

? But I try to summarize my virgin experience from yesterday and Wednesday.
I had seats quite up/back, almost the same spot both evenings. And what a difference! I was having fun on Wed, but yesterday just blew up my mind! I am still smiling
It was hot, steamy upstairs, I was sweating, dancing on my chair, singing along, waving and clapping my hands.
Yesterday the whole circle stood up immediately when the show started. People were very into it, and Adam got crazy yells and claps. Around us there was many middle-aged couples, who probably had a lot of memories of Queen during their early adult years. They were jamming and during slower songs many of them kissed each other or hold arms around shoulders
What was different between two nights? On Wed I felt I couldn’t hear Adam properly, music seemed too loud
Last night it was PERFECT, Adam’s voice was so beautiful. I felt he hold back on Wed to give the best possible vocals last night. And he performed so freely, even ripped his pants 
And he was so beautiful 
I was far, but yesterday I had binoculars, so it looked like he’s 3 meters away. I jammed and danced most of the time, but during slower songs or when he interacted with Brian or did something special, I used those. I was standing on my chair all the time when people where standing, to be able to see. That made me same height as my bf…
Yesterday the audience nearby was from another planet. People in my block were just sitting down, if someone tried to stand up, people behind them asked them to sit. The couple next to me was bored (?!), they didn’t even clap their hands! I guess they were some invite guests not any fans of Queen… I did my best to enjoy, I went dancing on the stairs
But I am so GLAD I was there yesterday and got the perfect experience. I LOVED the audience last night and I believe Adam and Brian and Roger did too. It was wonderful to be part of that experience.
When we (me and bf) were hanging around upstairs yesterday before the show, I saw Sauli and Tommy. They were also hanging around, talking with people. I wish I had seen / met Adam too, from close distance… I was one meter away, but didn’t go to say hi, there were many other people around them. Sauli was talking in Finnish as long as I heard. Tommy was much taller than I thought, bit he was wearing crazy high platform boots!
I finally managed to meet some of you glambert people from the group last night after the concert. Unfortunately I missed the others on Wed night, because I didn’t recognize anyone and there was some phone hazards. But I am glad I could meet and talk briefly with some of you! I am staying here with my bf until Monday, we just got here on Wed. I am thinking should I try to go to Sat concert too. But yesterday was so perfect… Standing stalls would be a different experience, but I am afraid I can’t do that
I think I just see how I feel on Sat. I have to do some holiday things with my bf now, so I’ll catch up things later. Or HE rips his pants

Now I can’t stop watching AOBTD either!! It’s addicting. To me it has the flavor of the GN show performances that we love so much. I really miss them! That is Adam in all his glory. I could actually have seen him swinging a boa around! I know…so 2 years or more ago.
Miss chaos you cracked me up with your statement about Brian having one or two years left! Was having this discussion yesterday about musicians. Why is it that jazz and blues musicians can continue playing into their nineties and they are lauded for it yet rockers should be retired? The Stones, Queen, mcCartney…I could list more.

Your partner is a public figure as well. How does that influence your personal and professional life?
Keeping my personal life private becomes more challenging because of that. In my professional life it makes things sometimes more challenging, too, in a way: sometimes I need to convince people that I’m actually more than only someone’s boyfriend. Publicity, however, isn’t in itself a factor in our personal life, it has more to do with public professions. After all, I don’t care if my partner is a celebrity or not – it’s the private relationship that matters.
Ron,hah! You must have been really biting your tongue all those weeks when WWL was being flailed over and over and over. Nope, don’t think you are being shallow. Adam is the whole package and if you don’t like how the package is wrapped it is a bit distracting.
I wish I could trust Fault magazine since I would LOVE to have the Sauli edition. Don’t think I have the patience to worry about their crappy delivery process. Never got my Adam edition.

It’s too funny. In real life, my 5 year old leather sofa needed repair because one of the armrests was cracking and peeling. So the store I ordered it from sent out a “leather tech” about 3 weeks ago, and he used melted wax and colored potions and said abracadara or something and it was completely fixed.
It started to crack again yesterday. The same day Adam split his pants. Coincidence? Karma? My house being in sync with Adam? Too funny…
Now, as a person who is familiar with the needle and thread, those pants are beyond repair. Maybe a very skilled leather attire maker could stitch the seat back up, but it would leave visible repair work. Now, granted, the ass was quite saggy, so maybe a repair is possible, but they would split again. Especially since our boy doesn’t exactly stand still and perform!
I’m loving everyone’s recaps so much. It just adds to the experience.
I can’t believe that tomorrow’s show is the last one. I just feel it will exceed these shows in some way. Major celebs major news, major performances.
Oh. And BB did make news here today with the split pants. Too many headlines to bring over. Just Google it folks. There’s 30-40 so far!!

adamized I just ordered the issue of Fault with Sauli in it. I paid with PayPal last time and they already had all my info so it was really easy. I did recieve my Adam copy however and even tho I was a little late ordering it, it came about the same time as others that ordered earlier. I just can’t wipe the smile off my face these days as the concerts are so great, videos are doing a great job of sharing the experience and like all of you, I want more.

After watching the vids through a couple of times, it’s my opinion that beginning with Dragon Attack, the show went from being “Queen with Adam Lambert” to “Adam Lambert backed by Queen”. To me it’s as if he became the old Adam (as he was in his GNT performances) but with a new twist. Would totally sell my first born to see them perform here in the states!
