Queen history at Hammersmith continued last night and now Adam can add his name to that. After an amazing first night in London, Adam and Queen continue their mini-tour with the second of three shows at HMV Hammersmith Apollo. The final concert will be this Saturday. Scheduled to begin at 8 PM London time (3 PM Eastern time, 12 PM Pacific time), let’s see how they change things up tonight.

mils, you were my first thought when I saw the ripped trousers, alas, the laces are no more. I think he ripped them climbing back onto the stage, he’d climbed down off the stage and walked and sang in the gap between the stage and the dence, and when he got back on the stage they were all ripped, and not a little rip….he was so funny with it though, made several funny comments and faces, and then bent down!!! He carried on though….just glad he was wearing undies today ( i presume), as we know he has been known not to!

The singing was even better tonight, he really hit those high notes. He got a huge amount of applause for WWTLF (the queen fan next to me was really impressed with that one), and an even longer applause at the end of TSMGO, he really was getting a lot of love from the audience. even when the band was introduced he got by far the longest and loudest cheers. I’m bummed we didn’t get Someone to love as that was a real highlight last night, but I’m so thankful that I got to see TSMGO live, that and WWTLF are just jawdropping.
It was a whole different experience watching in the mosh pit compared to the seats…..the atmosphere was amazing,albeit a bit squashed and smelly by the end….the dad and son queen fans that I had a long, long chat with were very impressed and were true converts by the end. I also spent 1 1/2 hours chatting to a lovely Glambert from Dubai, what fun to flail together, and lucky her she had a very supportive husband,,,,mine enjoyed most of it, but didn’t like TSMGO, and a couple of others. says he pushes it to hard and screams….pffft, what does he know!!!
Bumped into cwm at the end, had a bit of a chat, what a lovely lady.
Saw suz, RS, Cher, and Riskylady up in the first row of the seats. Kept looking for Sauli but couldn’t see him.
And he didn’t exactly do a blowjob on the mic, he did get down extremely close to the camera, gave the mic a bit of a hand job, and did some tongue action, but not on the mic.

As incredible as the first show was, tonight was even better!!!!!!!
Adam let go with his voice more than last night and he soared. I think that on his first show in the UK he was a bit more restrained until he could see how he would be received. Tonight he was ADAM in all his glory. Of course it helped that I was sitting in the first row balcony and had an incredible view, better than my blocked view from the floor last night. The only problem was that since the people behind me were mostly sitting, I didn’t feel comfortable standing alone and dancing in front of them all through the concert. Standing on the balcony, looking out over the sea of arms waving and clapping in time for Radio Gaga, We Are The Champions, etc was a something I will not soon forget.
Last night we were upset when Brian sang TSMGO, but tonight when he sang Somebody to Love instead, we realized that Adam might sing TSMGO, and when he did, the whole place went nuts. I have no words to express the emotionality of that song. I could go on and on, but it is very late….
I will try and put more thoughts to paper after Sunday when I Get home.

I need help.
Oh boy I’m the first one here! On my phone and it’s late and I have an early flight home, but wanted to share at least an initial recap. The show was a.m.a.z.i.n.g. Now I know I used a lot of superlatives last night, but dammit if Adam didn’t outdo himself yet again. He was on fire all night, never held back, and just went for it. And completely slayed it. Phenomenal. And the crowd was INSANE.
Couple of tidbits:
Adam really truly ripped his pants during I Want to Break Free. He jumped off the catwalk into the space between the barrier and the stage, walked across the front of the stage grabbing people’s hands, then climbed back up onstage at the side. When he got back up he realized that he had ripped the inseam of his leather laces. Laughed, said “oh shit!” and showed us the rip. LMAO I love his crazy ass! He and Brian were cracking up and Adam conceded that there was no costume change immediately forthcoming, so he just carried on, with the inseam of his pants flapping in the breeze. SO FUNNY! Did I say I love hiys crazy ass?
During the “I’ve fallen in love” line for I Want to Break Free, Adam pointed up to Sauli twice and said something like “he’s right there.” D’awwww. It was a lovely moment.
Chemistry between the guys was fantastic. Adam is just so damn happy up there that he can’t contain his joy and it just spills over and envelopes everyone else too.
I officially adore Dragon Attack. That song is so funkay and you can just tell it does “things” to Adam.
WWTLF and TSMGO were both jawdropping.
Our whole gang piled into macdonad’s afterward (only place still serving food) and flailed. Gotta say, the peeps I met from this site are lovely, loving people and it was an honor and privilege to meet you all and spend time with you!

Have to agree with you, Ron. Even though FS was a unique experience, I like Adam’s heavier, more rhythmic tracks even better – ABTD, DA, STL, etc. (and the first half of TR).

Ron, I pondered your submission and considered it for epic-ness. My research reveals that if you listen with eyes closed to the vocal performance, it, umm, well…can lead one to experience the eargasm often induced by AFL.
The differences are in the length of said eargasm. With WLL at FS being nearly 9 minutes and Another One Bites The Dust at just 6 minutes.

Now we do have some serious slinky sexy dancy moves and some rolling hips in both.
However, the torn pants do add a lulz factor, which quite frankly detracts from the overall sexaaaayness just a tad. However, the blue hair extensions in WLL did the same for me.
Both songs have the bluesy pounding rhythm that Adam grooves on. He riffs a plenty in both. He hits super high notes in WLL. He belts it out in both. He plays with the audience in both ( You want my whole lotta love? ).
Both are seriously sexy and OTT. However, WLL at FS is just pure oozing sex. It starts and builds to a finish. It may be his finest vocal ever. But, honey, this performance is in that same league.
So, my research reveals that for me, I love them both. I will add this AOBTD to my bookmarks and visit it as needed.

greatAdam fan minds think alike! I was just thinking about what’s he going to do on Saturday to top this!!!Hi everyone! It’s 3:30am and I’ve just finished packing. Off to Heathrow airport at 5am!! Agh. No rest for the weary. I did GA the first night and upstairs balcony last night. Enjoyed both in different ways. Tonight a fan/friend I’ve met at other concerts saw me back of her and told me to come sit down in front row right center beside her in an extra seat her friend wasn’t using. Who was I to refuse that offer?
Unfortunately that meant I dissed Agathehb and left her behind. She had been sitting next to me until then.
I’ll tell more when I get back but Sauli, Leila, Neil, Katri, Tommy and a couple of their friends were about 8 rows behind me and standing up and dancing most of the time. Then there was a VIP party upstairs at the bar after the concert, so I assume Adam and Queen were coming up there eventually. Adam’s peeps were in that roped off area when I left to go downstairs to exit.
Adam was great the first night but fantastic last night. He got several standing ovations and absolutely killed it! The two British ladies and their hubbies beside me said they were upset he hadn’t won idol and they had wanted to see him for a long time in person. They said he was fantastic, even better than Freddie voicewise and full of charisma. I encouraged them to buy Trespassing cds afterwards and they bought 2. They were selling them at the tshirt/souvenir booths. Anyway, off to see if I’ve forgotten anything. Luggage heavy, London weather is miserable but I do like it here and will be back (especially if Adam plays with Queen again!! lol)
It was sooo much fun meeting up with our blog and other peeps here and we had a blast!! As I’ve said before, I’ll recap when I’m not feeling like a zombie anymore. A gentleman who’s better half is a lurker here said he got the full show on video and will be posting it soon. Hugs to you all.
