mils – I don’t know what lyrics you’re looking at, but it looks to me like Adam is tracking the lyrics in Save Me quite well.
In London 1, he nails them perfectly.
In London 2, he did make a small mistake in that he forgot the lines “How I loved you, how I cried” in the first verse and inserted “Was it all wasted, all that love ?” from the second verse instead, and then repeats that line again in the second verse. Otherwise, I didn’t see any mistakes.

In any case, those lyrics are simply heartbreaking and poetic in their pain. I wonder who Adam thinks about when he sings it, if anyone. Brian wrote the song.

cwm: the “– what a jewel!” was afterwards. This is a heartbreaking song, Adam vocal is achingly beautiful, and he is so earnest. In a way it has a similar effect on me as WWTLF. I could just cry because it’s so sad and yet so beautiful. Words really fail me.
Queen created some really special songs, and even though I knew quite a good number of them from way back, I had missed a lot of the meaning before Adam came along and reintroduced them to me. I have the greatest respect for all Queen members.

@milwlovesadam…I like your take on Adam’s raunchiness…so I did some research on GNT in Europe and I think you’re right! He’s a very sexually charged man especially on stage. Given how outrageously sexy he is, how orally fixated he is(sticking out his tongue every chance he gets and licking everything) ,his sensuality oozes out and grabs you thru the screen, thru pictures, thru every damn thing…he’s gotta be getting laid as much as he wants!
It’s that raw sexually energy, that virile magnetism that has caught me off guard, so much so that sometimes I can’t concentrate on what he’s singing…but I’m babbling now

And turquoisewaters – I couldn’t agree with you more about Queen’s songs. I was a “greatest hits” kind of fan, but through Adam I have been introduced to so much more of their catalog and have a whole new appreciation and respect for their incredible songcraft and their amazing musicianship.
