@asifclueless@Axxxel Thank you!!! It is clearly revealed for all the world to see, that Adam Lambert is no mere American Idol runner up, not just some pop singer or glambert but an extraordinary talent with astonishing vocal ability, charisma and magnetic stage presence. My only hope is that he can now reach the pinnacle of his success and reap his hard-earned awards! ILHSFM!!!!

Devenlane has already embedded vids and pics from 1/17 on her site. I never realized that it costs them money to keep adding storage until I saw the notice on her site. I just gladly donated some money through paypal. We can download anything Adam from there free of charge so the donation is well worth it.

  3. Axxxel says:

rslucky you, watching a wonderful concert with a wonderful frontman in a wonderful city…

I have a feeling though that the GNT-antics are over for a while though (miss it already) … especially with Adam’s explanation about the third album… Maybe he will be still glam with a stiff upperlip ? LOL…

  4. cher says:

Hi ToniB! Glad you’re so excited. He is just amazing isn’t he?

  5. Axxxel says:

@cher less physical action,,, frustrating, but it does not stop your generous heart…

  6. rs says:

Axxxel, I love Prague! This will be my third time there Big Smile

Thanks Al!! Wowee!! Cover Mils’ and cwm’s eyes. Their hearts can’t take so much awesomeness in one page!! Gorgeous! Yes

3rd in queue. 4 hours down, 9 hours to go

I am way too old for that GA stuff. Gaaaah!! Kinkykiedis is off to join the queue as well. Not for me if I can help it. Especially now that my foot is full of metal. Big Frown
Having a pity party for 1 apparently. Frown

  10. cher says:

    Finally!! First review!!!
    http://linkis.com/dailyrecord.co.uk/1bYUi

Best review!! He wrote exactly what a Glambert would!! Fabulous!

  11. rs says:

Having a pity party for 1 apparently

Not for one! I am here with you. Watching the vids from last night. After my GA in Merryweathern and without metal in my foot, lol, I don’t think I want another GA either. I prefer to have great VIP seats. The problem with the European venues is that all the floor tickets are GA so that if you want to be close you have to queue up for hours. Unless you want pay huge $$$$ to sit on the stage, which I wouldn’t want anyway.

  12. cwm says:

Haha awww thanks for thinking of me cher! You may have noticed that I faved and retweeted your tweet of those pics within about a minute! HOT STUFF! Adam looked incredibly beautiful and sexy tonight. I literally do not understand how he can keep looking better and better but he just does. OMG! And don’t even get me started about about he sounded tonight! Holy crap – how does he keep getting better and better? Where are we all gonna end up? I lost count of how many times I’ve listened to Save Me. It’s simply exquisite.

I was so glad I had the time today to spend swooning over drooling over watching vids and pics and reading all of praise and flail pouring in. Immediately after the show was over, I saw all of the amazing tweets from all of the ecstatic, gobsmacked people who had just been blown away by Adam, and I was literally reading them through happy tears. I was so emotional; I’m soooo happy for Adam and soooo proud of him as he slays one city after another in the UK and leaves nothing but a trail of (the best kind of) carnage in his wake.

  13. cher says:

Read that review cwm. He’s made it there!! Awesome!

Here’s another youtube channel from last night. Not sure if it’s on the list already but making sure we have all vids. Blush

  15. rs says:

WOW what a fantastic review! I don’t know who the writer is, but he was no Glambert going in and was ready to blast Adam if he wasn’t good.

Here is how he ended the review:

Bohemian Rhapsody was reworked as a duet, with Lambert alternating vocals with live footage of Freddie but in all honesty, it would have worked better if they let him just sing it himself.

They finished up on a killer double whammy of We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions, with the crowd singing every word while doing the iconic handclaps.

It could have been a disaster but in Adam Lambert, Queen have found the only singer who could step into those very big shoes. As a tribute to Freddie Mercury and as a gig in its own right, this was a glorious success. Amazing.

  16. Toni B says:

@cher -during STL he said “fuck” for sure! Adam’s just being ADAM! Razz LOL

  17. cwm says:

Yep, fantastic review indeed! The writer is referencing the show at The Hydro, so that looks to be a review of the Glasgow show, rather than London. Still waiting on London!

  18. cher says:

yep I guess that has to go to the Glasgow thread. Al? Ulti?

  19. cher says:
  20. rs says:

That is the first time since Adam has been singing with Queen that I have ever seen someone write that BR would have been better if Adam had sung it alone, not with Freddie. Don’t think I even agree, not in this context anyway.

  21. cher says:

Geez it’s after 6am here! Better go try to sleep. Gnight
rs and cwm and all who are awake. Shut Mouth

  22. cwm says:

    Yup me too! G’nite ALL!

And rs I agree with you – I think the BoRhap duet works perfectly for the occasion. Smile

  23. rs says:

Nite cher and cwm. Sweet Adam dreams Sleepy I will continue watching last night’s show. Riddle’s vids are at WWTLF now, sigh,. Of course I have already seen it at least 5 times this morning Big Smile

See you tonight for the next concert.

    Am I alone here now?

  24. Axxxel says:

@rsunfortunately you will… Almost 7 pm here… am maybe going out on this quiet sunday evening…Have been flailing over those concertvideo’s during the whole afternoon…

ETA: 3 times in Prague ? Jealous, jealous, jealous ! What hotel (midrange in pricing if possible) would you recommend ? Just in case one day fate brings me there…

  25. rs says:

Axxxel We are staying at the K&K Central. I have stayed there before and it is a gorgeous old Art Nouveau theater that was renovated into a hotel. Mid range. Not expensive, great lovation between the old and new towns. K&K is a great hotel chain. I stayed at the Vienna one, too.

  26. Axxxel says:

@cher Good night… GA is very tiring… it is better if you dance during the concert like I did with Bruno Mars… so 4 hours standing (1,5 hour outside, 1 hour delay -with some sitting on the floor- and 1,5 hours concert)does not feel too much…

However I also went to GA watching Adam Lambert one year earlier… also 4 hours standing (sometimes sitting on the ground) and just like Toni B… I was just staring at him (but because the soundsystem was so so, did not hear his voice through my body)… Couldn’t move because I was so mesmerized… But afterwards, Oh dear, my feet hurt…

  27. rs says:

Just finished watching Riddle’s vids. That roar at the end! WOW! From personal experience, there is nothing in the world like London Queen fans. And I loved those vids of the people singing BR while waiting for the tube after the show. So great. Now to get on with my day so that I will be able to be here to listen to tonight’s stream. The audio streams are great when we get them, but a video stream would be nice, too…Not asking for much am I? I miss Suz!

  28. Axxxel says:

@rs, Thanks for the tip… It looks very nice on the website !! sigh… Maybe some day…

ETA: Have a nice day ! with Borap on your mind LOL… (Me I had STL on my mind…LOL)

  29. Axxxel says:

13 hours queueing… I wouldn’t be able to sleep in the meantime because of excitement and anticipation… By the time the concert starts I would fall asleep….

  30. HK fan says:

Hi all…..just trying to catch up…haven’t even started the videos yet!!

I had an old school friend that I am still in touch with go to the concert last night…she’s just been in touch with me.
she said ‘it was bloody amazing….she’s still on a high, if it wasn’t sold out she would go again tonight…..was a brilliant night, was only about 30 feet from him most of the night…there is something about him, he is very charismatic…..never really understood why you were a super fan, can see why now……loved him on AI, but this just blew me away. He’s got it all going on, the looks, the voice, the showmanship;.

    Think she enjoyed itSmile

eta…the last comment was actually from her friend she went with….

  31. rs says:

Actually Axxxel IWIA is today’s earworm.

HK fan I love hearing I love hearing things like what your friend wrote.

  32. HK fan says:
  33. Axxxel says:

@rs aaahh that is also a great song to keep you fit through the day !!

@HK fan Great to hear from your friend who finally understands the fandom…

  34. Axxxel says:

@HK fan taken from your article…
Lambert’s stunning vocals in Who Wants To Live Forever is also up there, with the eccentric singer just standing there in a ghost- like atmosphere…

I think this is the first time someone called Adam “eccentric”… I guess the writer may have seen some videos from pre-idol days… LOL…especially when she mentioned about the clubs…

  35. luval says:

They used a great picture of Adam in that London article too.

Hi ALL – Just popping in – long day yesterday at my daughter’s volleyball tournament but the good news is that they won all of their games! So today is 3 more games against even tougher teams – hoping for a good day! LOVE the LOVE that ADAM is getting from the UK!! It is so well-deserved!!!

  38. luval says:
  39. sparkle says:

Hi luval – good to “see” someone here, even though you aren’t posting (or should I say posting then erasing – very mysterious!)

  40. ultimathule says:

Checking in – back later – LOVE that review!!!!!!!

  41. Axxxel says:

@sparkle .. it was a link to an article, it was supposed to be a review and it turned out to be an article that I think, has already been posted before on the january chat.

ETA: I wanted to comment on the article.. because it called Adam as “colourful”.. maybe it is another synonym for “eccentric” ??? So on one hand the writers of the articles love Adam, on the other hand, they think he is an exotic bird..

  42. Axxxel says:

review… ooops already posted by luval

Wow. Adam’s dad is wowed by his son and riddle’s fantastic vids.

  45. milwlovesadam says:

Adam Lambert can’t be of this world, the “glittery alien from the planet fierce” must be a vampire, for no mere man could be so beautiful, so talented and so unflaggingly sexy. All I could do is stare at him while his voice vibrated thru my body…I’m smitten, I’m bewitched, I’m enchanted and possessed by the man called Adam Lambert.

Where is this from? The poster Toni or a fan from the sudience? Or a reviewer??

Need to know, because it sums up my past 6 years in a neat paragraph… In Love

  46. rs says:

I love that Telegraph review! And here are a few reasons why (someone did their homework)

when he walked into the audition room and performed Bohemian Rhapsody for Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul, he was already a trained and seasoned performer who’d cut his teeth in musical theatre.

The 32-year-old’s talent is truly staggering, with a range, clarity and tone that make him one of the world’s great vocalists.

I’ve been looking for a “Don’t Stop Me Now” video since it was on the set list but it seems that they did not do it according to the reviews.
