Queen and Adam are off to Sin City for 2 sold-out nights at The Joint. It’s the most intimate venue of the whole tour with only 3100 seats. Many ALLers will be there both nights so we can bet on getting some first hand accounts!

Just have to share this. Went to a BBQ the other day and was talking to the company manager of Hedwig and the angry inch, and I asked him how long they expected the show to run after Andrew Rannells leaves ( he’s replacing NPH ). He said ” as long as we can find good replacements.” So I said you should get Adam Lambert. And he said ” oh we’ve tried, believe me several times, we think he’d be great, he’s got too much going on.” I can’t tell you how happy that made me!

I LOVE the idea that Broadway is looking at Adam (and not surprised, either) but I wouldn’t want to see Adam follow NPH for Hedwig. That show has won it’s Tony’s. Adam isn’t a sloppy second. He’s a first. Also, there is a whole cult around Hedwig. A lot of fans fight over who is the best Hedwig: John Cameron Mitchell, john Leguizamo, now NPH, etc. Had enough of that with the Queen fans.
Wouldn’t want to see Adam in Hedwig either. If I’m being honest I did not care for NPH at the Tony’s or the song he sang. Of course I’d go see it if Adam was in it but nope, don’t want to see him in that.
