Queen and Adam take the stage very near Adam’s hometown tonight, at the Forum in Inglewood, CA. A limited number of tickets were still available on ticketmaster as of mid afternoon, but the show is very close to sold out. We have OFFICIAL streams available tonight (see links below)! Numerous ALLers will be in attendance, so we’ll be looking for those recaps!

Why so much difficulty getting everyone into the venues? Is this common for sell-out shows or are the sound checks taking longer than expected? One thing that surprised me in Chicago was the number of people who had obviously come directly from work without eating. Line-ups for meals (not snacks) and booze were enormous. No one seemed to be taking their food into the arena either. The merchandise kiosks were very crowded, too.
I think it’s Adam that says “shorter…I want it shorter!!!!” The trend now I guess. Wish he’d be the one to break out of it. I remember the black hair. Sexy rebel.
I can’t stay up, but I wish I could……….can’t wait for all the videos and reports on who was there to catch the show etc.
I remember on GN he said it was like air conditioning to have shorter hair.

The venues need to open an hour earlier but perhaps they have restrictions dictated by the Unions or something? Security checks are the norm these days and we just have to accept that, but it’s not run efficiently. They should have more gates open so that the lineups aren’t so long, and more security checking people through. It seems to be the same everywhere
But it can cut into a performance when there are curfews and noise restrictions.
San Jose videos were pretty amazing last night. They might have been less of a Queen crowd (the online comments said they didn’t sing along as much as some shows) but they were wild for Adam and he was on fire.
The west coast is the heart of Adam Land and LA is his home. Expecting an amazing show tonight. Wish we were all there.
I hope Ryan Seacrest is there. I want him to make a big fuss on the radio tomorrow morning.

If they would open the doors earlier, there would be more money spent. Food, merch, booze, etc.
But, opening the doors earlier means more expenses for lighting, cleaning crews, staff, security, etc.
I think it would even out. And patrons could get in earlier, eat, pee, and buy stuff without worrying. Also, the set list may not be cut by a song if the doors were open earlier.
I’m just so glad it wasn’t raining in Chicago standing in line around the block before the show. We sure did get wet after the show trying to catch a non-existant cab back to the hotel!!
In town here we have volunteers manning the entrance gates for football, concerts, etc. And I’m talking 30,000 people at times with all gates open. But those big arenas probably have the unions to deal with as angelowal said.
