I know I said yesterday that I have to take a break from QAL at least for about 24 hours. But now… Knowing that there is a possibility to hear them tonight again…yep cant wait for it. Tricksen and Busses are already in Frankfurt for a few hours. Early morgen i think

My personal experience when seeing Adam in concert, and now QAL, is that one needs to see the show more than once.
There were two concerts here in Toronto last July and I was lucky enough to see both of them. For the first one, I found my mind wandering all over the place! There was so much to take in … the venue, the audience, the stage, the set, the giant “Q”, the lights (almost a separate show in itself!). The spectacle of it all was a bit overwhelming. Wonderfully overwhelming but … overwhelming.
Knowing what to expect when I went to the second show, I was totally focused on Adam, Brian, Roger and the music. So, putting the two shows together, I was able to get the total experience by seeing it twice.
Anyway, that’s how it worked for me. Maybe something similar will happen to you tonight.
We’ll be thinking of you during the show! Have a fantastic time!

I can tell after listening to dozens of streams that they are moving things along quicker. I think Adam does seem a little under the weather. . The intro to LOTG was short. KQ vocals started quick with not much playing & fanning. STL..no pauses for funny faces or Glam Rock Church. No glory note at the end.
But the show must go on! And of course this is just my opinion. People who have never seen this spectacular show would never know the difference. He’ll be fine. Show is 2/3’rds over already.
It just so sad for him. He has so much fun on stage. It must be so so frustrating for him to not being able to give 200%. I so hope he gets well really soon and its not the flu or something serious.
Breaks my heart a bit, want to cuddle him up, put him into bed and hold his hand.

I asked on twitter whether he spit “champagne” because the stream went on ads. Only one person said “yes” but he didn’t say anything afterwards. Probably didn’t propel the spit too much.
I think editing this whole show a tiny bit will help so much if he doesn’t feel well and no one will know the difference. Except me! haha

He does the show a little different. Still really awesome but there are some things I miss. And he left the stage so fast after FBG and STL. Not so playful tonight, a bit more restraint maybe? Doesnt laugh and giggle so much. Miss his giggles…
