Adam kicks off a series of concerts as the lead vocalist for Queen (billed as Queen + Adam Lambert), with the group joining Elton John at a charity concert in Kiev, Ukraine. This concert benefits the Russian group Antiaids, and is being held in the official Euro 2012 Fan Zone at Independence Square in Kiev. The free concert is scheduled to begin at 8 PM Kiev time (6 PM London time, 1 PM Eastern time, 10 AM Pacific time).
Additional Queen + Adam Lambert concerts are scheduled for July 3 (Moscow), July 7 (Wroclaw, Poland), followed by a series of three dates in London on July 11, 12 and 14.

I don’t think this is a great fit for Adam – too much about the instrumentals and not enought about the vocals.
Definitely a Queen concert with Adam along for the ride. And yes, heavy on instruments. But it seems like that is what Queen is about, yes? One of the things I don’t enjoy about rock is the heavy instrumentation that sometimes seems to go on forever. Like now, for instance.

That’s a wrap – wow! I think have all of the setlist posted with just a couple of unknown songs. Hopefully can figure out what those were at some point.
Almost 2 hours – looks like Adam performed about 16 1/2 songs. Longest concert that I know of for him, and likely the largest crowd he has ever performed in front of (I think that crowd was larger than the Quebec Balloon Festival).
I thought he did an outstanding job.
Wow. Brian and Roger must be exhausted. Like running a marathon I am sure. Our BB did so well. It’s funny how I project my own nerves onto him and he always ends up looking so happy and excited. The stream I ended up using (had to keep switching for some reason) didn’t have the best sound. Can’t wait to hear/see the professional tapes. Totally missed a couple at the beginning but got back in to hear Under Pressure! So happy for Adam. It will be interesting to hear what the Queen followers say about the show. Probably will be a mixed bag. Don’t really care as long as Brian, Roger, and Adam were pleased.

And me. Ferklempt Mils. I had a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes several times. Who Wants to Live Forever, Under Pressure, and especially with Radio Gaga.
What got me was seeing the audience doing the over the head clapping just like for Freddie at Wembley. And Adam’s face, he totally got it. And I think he got a little ferklempt too.
And the laces. Honest to Rawk Gawds, between Adam, Queen, the crowd, the songs and the laces, it was almost too much. Almost.
I love Adam-am Lamber-tam. ( I guess I speak Russian too!).
Now, the real question is, can we get copies of this? Will there be a DVD??????? Tomorrow. Please.
I need a nap. All my adrenaline is gone. First I was so nervous and excited I was actually nauseous. Then I got hungry but couldn’t leave my screen, then my husband brought me some hummus and veggies to dip, then I chomped and watched and ogled and clapped and stomped and sang.
I have been a Queen fan since the mid-70’s. Freddie is a Rock God. He is an icon. When he died, I cried. I haven’t cried for a celebrity before or since.
I’m in awe for today. Simply stunned and in overdrive. I expected this to be great. I just didn’t expect this level of greatness.

I lost TSMGO at the end my favorite part. I know there will be videos. Im tired just from sitting here at attention for 5 hours lol. Adam was great, he was born to do this. To my tin ears, his voice was awsome. MY favorite, Another on bites the dust, who wants to live Forever, and TSMGO, along with a few others. He added his own take on some of these songs. The crowd really looked into it, I never expected him to sing so many songs, I think he got them alright. I wonder how he is feeling after all that. Was it exciting? Just part of the business? I dunno, I am still putting it all together, and cant wait to see videos, the feed was great but when Adam was singing it was bouncing around too much and cutting out, it couldnt keep up with him. Cant wait to see others take on the show.

I kept thinking at times Adam wanted to break out his fierceness, like in the Zodiac show but couldn’t in respect to Freddy.
Who Wants to Live Forever seems to be the favorite with a couple of people I know. That song with Adam singing could have been on an opera stage.
Oh.My.God. I’m speechless. That was so freakin’ awesome! Adam could not have sounded, looked, or performed better. He was perfect.
And I thought he achieved just the right balance of doing the songs “Queen’s way” vs. making them his own.
And I gotta say, Queen was pretty freakin’ awesome themselves. Brian and Roger still got it, that’s for sure. The show was a GREAT combination of vocals vs. instrumentals, bombast vs. heartfelt.
I’m so happy for Adam I could cry. That crowd was HUGE! It was so obvious that he was having a blast up there, and his joy was contagious.
Happy happy happy fan, that’s me. And honestly, I CANNOT believe that I’m gonna see this show live in London in 1.5 weeks!!

I am speechless. This was so much more I could ever expect. I couldn’t do anything but just “be on the show”, live with it. No question of tweeting or commenting anywhere. The songs, Adam’s voice… The big tv screen and loudspeakers helped too (poor neighbors, it’s late here).
I haven’t seen Adam sing like this for a long time – and this show was twice as long as GNT (of course he was not singing every song now, but many). People who have complained he can’t control his voice, couldn’t be more wrong. It was so beautiful. I am not a great fan of the early harder rocky songs, but I am so happy this music hasn’t died. I have to join Mils’ corner. Good night…
