Adam kicks off a series of concerts as the lead vocalist for Queen (billed as Queen + Adam Lambert), with the group joining Elton John at a charity concert in Kiev, Ukraine. This concert benefits the Russian group Antiaids, and is being held in the official Euro 2012 Fan Zone at Independence Square in Kiev. The free concert is scheduled to begin at 8 PM Kiev time (6 PM London time, 1 PM Eastern time, 10 AM Pacific time).
Additional Queen + Adam Lambert concerts are scheduled for July 3 (Moscow), July 7 (Wroclaw, Poland), followed by a series of three dates in London on July 11, 12 and 14.

Elton is perfect to be the first artist. I love his slower songs, he has soul for that kind of. I have a collection of Elton’s love songs, many songs he performs are familiar from there. I jut love his piano! And the faster ones, kind of sophisticated rock
Thinking about the two artist(group)s today, it has to be that Elton is a warm up. Queen is so much more rock, so it needs to be the last.

Can I say how much I already MISS everyone from Ste-Agathe and am so sad we all can’t be together. When we planned Adam’s Wembley flight I wanted it to be all of us. If I ever in the lottery WE ARE ALL GOING….which is going to be hard because I don’t buy lottery tickets but as libradoodle would say: “It’s the thought that counts.”

I used to live in a capital almost next to Olympic Stadium and often at the end of the shows went to my balcony to watch the fireworks at the end
