Tonight is the second of two shows in Argentina. The receptive Argentinian crowd brought out the best in QAL in Buenos Aires so it will be interesting to hear how the Córdoba crowd reacts (and the guys respond). Who knows, it may be the best show yet!

    lol, retjenny. I remember during GNT…first show actually, I got there early & scoped out every bit of the venue. Then went back to the hotel. Did it a second time when I ran into Monte & walked & talked to him for awhile. Then back to the hotel. Venue was across the street so very easy to do this!

    The poster for tonight Cordoba concert is beautiful.
    Love the colours, composition and creativeness.
    Love the crystal ball with the Kabuki curtain in it, the flag colours .. white and blue of the word Argentina and Brian’s expression of joy! .. just breathtaking. (missed Roger .. though, or he is behide Adam in the ball) … Hmmm!!.. Doesn’t sound good. Grin

    I’m off for a dinner out, both boys in town on a break, lots of busy-ness this week, no time for shows. Oh. But, I will be lurking and catching up!!

    The day Marisa met Adam….

    after some skipping, I came to this paragraph:

    Fianlly, after ten minutes, it was my turn. I swear I could see the knob moving in slow motion. Then they were signaling me to come in. He looked at me, shook my hand and said “Hi!”. I looked at the most precious face in the whole planet and told him I had interviewed him once, a long time ago, by phone. “Nice!”, he said, looking at me with those bright green eyes (they looked very green to me). Then I told him that, this time, I was writing a feature for a Time-like magazine, and he seemed to like it. “Cool!”, he said. Then he sat on the white sofa while I turned on my recording device. He looked so relaxed, his legs crossed on the ankles, one arm on the back of the sofa holding his head, the other on his thigh. I looked at him and was shocked to realize that yes, it was the same face I had seen in so many pictures. “Or course it is!”, my brain supplied. But, at the same time, it was completely different, because it was REAL. And OMG, it was so very BEAUTIFUL. No one should be allowed to look like THAT. I could see he had some make up on, probably for television – just a little foundation and mascara. His sleeves were pulled on, so I could see part of the tattoos…

    This is my favorite part of Marisa’s very interesting and long article..

    One of my favorite writers (you know who you are) once said that you couldn’t look at Adam’s eyes for too long, or you might get lost into them. That, my friends, is a fact. I mean, I remember the way he looked intensely at me, all the f*****g time. But yeah, sometimes I had to look away, because it was just too much. His eyes are like those giant laser beans that hold you in place and then penetrate your soul. If you don’t protect yourself, God knows what might happen…
