I think he added gloves to the fringes to keep them from sliding off his hands whilst singing.
He switched from the Dragon Attack pants to his tight Play That Funky Music bell bottoms so he could twirl in the fringes. IMHO.
But, the only reason I can think of for the vest is so that the fringes don’t fall off his shoulders.
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY not let them slip slide and roll off? It is one of the sexiest thingz I’ve ever seen. On a man or a woman.

Tend to think, mils, that he didn’t want to be bothered with the fringes slipping off – had to hang them on a mic – put them on the floor – hang on one shoulder – distraction maybe.
Note, too, unlike first iHeart, when he kept brushing his hair back from his forehead, he now keeps it short enough doesn’t have to do that.
Doesn’t seem to be touching his ear thingees as much anymore either. Perhaps some change there, too.

….I’m thinking it may be because the sound is better. He can hear himself. Perhaps touching the ear thingies has been a signal to the sound crew and/or an unconscious reaction to hearing difficulties. Hate to think it could be a reaction to a little nervousness…(prob not?)…my heart kinda goes out to him
(it would be completely understandable though!! The pressure has been intense for the last 5 years…)

Slaves eating the crops while their owner is away? I just see it as a rebellious song, not dark, or negative. IMHO
I have a feeling that Adam has sung this in some context at some point in his career. As part of a revue, or on his ship-board days, at table sides. It is pretty common, and just plain silly last night. IMHO.
I can remember that song as a child. Don’t remember it anything more than a funny song…like row row row your boat. or pop goes the weasel or songs like that.

I’m loving how he changes STL and Killer Queen at every show. Reminds me so much of GN when he changed things up so much.
Sometimes I wonder if he gets “bored” or if he does it because he knows people are coming to multiple shows, or both??
Either way, Brian and Roger have learned to go with Adam’s flow.
I did something today, while driving to work I listened to the Kiev show. I was struck by many things, most notably how Adam had to keep up with Roger. Roger was simply playing his drums, not really in synch with Adam. Especially in STL.
Now, they are letting Adam be Adam, letting him lead the parade. Adam may be grateful to them, humble, etc, however, I really do believe that roles have reversed now, and Brian and Roger are grateful to Adam.
I can especially see it in Brian, you can see him stopping and even directing Roger with hand signals to slow down, to pause, to let Adam shine. It is so generous, and has such a great effect on the production. LOVE IT.

What amazes me is how well he performed even after that happened. He kept them on while performing – torn, flapping in the wind – through a large portion of the concert.
Talk about ‘TSMGO’…lol. He was already ready for that song.
