The Queen + Adam Lambert tour kicks off Thursday night in the “Windy City” of Chicago with many ALLers taking in the opening concert. The atmosphere will be electric as we wait to see what Q+AL have planned to entertain us. If the iHeartRadio appetizer is an indication of what is to come, we are in for a moveable musical feast!

Ok, I know I’ve been post-hoing through the whole show, but that was absolutely UNBELIEVABLE!! UNREAL
Adam was AMAZING!! He was born to do this!!

To me, the two words that mark the difference between Freddie Mercury’s voice and Adam’s voice are “raw” and “polished”.
Freddie Mercury had a wonderful and great raw talent.

That was so amazing, just that little bit of stream, and all the tweets and photos, just like I was there! I cant even imagine what it is like in person. I cant believe Adam and his outfits, he really didnt give a darn did he. When I saw that crown, I couldnt believe it. Brian really loves Adam doesnt he, its like he is in awe of Adam too. A little BoRap on Idol years ago, and look at this, unbelievable!!!

Oh my friends there are just no words to describe the show tonight. Adam truly owned the arena. He had us from the first note. And I can’t say enough about the pants, the were spectacular. LOL.
The only thing I will say is his mic needs to come way up, the band drowns him out a lot of the time I was struggling to hear him. But otherwise he is a vocal master and these songs are just made for him. They were really having fun up there too. It is only going to get better and better. I am still smiling.
Just listened to the end but it sounded great or as great as it can on a stream. I really wish they wouldn’t have done the crown thing. That was Freddie’s signature. That is not smart. I did not like that at all. Hope they lose it. But, maybe over here it won’t be a big deal.
Love the set list and the staging looks amazing. His costumes are really fun and he looks incredible. Can’t wait to see it in person!
