The Queen and Adam Lambert “Once In A Lifetime” tour wraps up tonight at the second sold-out show at the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand. It seems that not long ago we were just getting the news about the tour and now it will soon be over – 35 shows in 6 countries. It truly will become one of the “remember when” concerts for those fortunate to see them live. So break out the champagne and dark chocolate and let’s celebrate this last “Once In A Lifetime” experience! Sleep is so over-rated!

I am sitting here with tears in my eyes. Don’t want to get up. That would mean the end of this incredible ride. I know I have to, and we have been through so much together, GNT, Trespassing, London and the first QAL, all the concerts in between, this beautiful summer that I was lucky enough to share live and in person with so many of you, and we have so much to look forward to…album 3, another round of QAL (it is too good to just put away, and they know it!), more TV shows, movies, etc. But for now, this is the end of a lovely chapter. We will spend another few weeks
droolinggoing over photos, videos, recaps, reviews, and things will quiet down until the next Adamstorm. It has been great and I am so privileged to have been able to share it with you all, my true Glambert sisters and brothers. Love you ALLGroup Hug

That’s exactly how Adam is feeling at this very moment and that’s why we’re feeling the same emotions for him, with him, and through him.
The closing night of any show, in my experience, was always a very happy occasion – we did it and it was so much fun! – but also sad for the very same reasons.
Adam will be perfectly fine after a couple of vodkas. If it wasn’t 7 o’clock in the morning, I’d join him.
Yes, ron, so happy you are here, and so glad for all of you in NA who got up, or stayed up in the middle of the night to share this adventure. This leg of the tour was so easy for me. It is now 2:10pm. I love it when so many of us are here at the same time. Too bad that AL and eywflyer couldn’t be here. We owe them so much.

Just got back in from bowling here – glad to see everyone had fun! Like y’all I’m sad that the tour is ending for now, although the “current run” phrase used by @QueenWillRock is encouraging.

Check out the stick selfie from the end of this concert. Notice how Adam and Roger are perfectly in line, same stance, as if Roger is unconsciously echoing Adam. I honestly think these guys are totally in sync.

ITA TLKC. We always talk about Brian and Adam “togetherness”because they are dueting so much on stage, but Roger is no less part of the trio. His praise for Adam, his voice, and how he rejuvenates them has been through the roof, their Under Pressure is perfect, and there have been some absolutely adorable photos of them hugging at the end of some of the shows. As someone wrote in one of the many glowing reviews of last night’s show, “Adam was born to be in Queen”. They are a family.

Agree, rs. Roger is a pretty unsentimental man if his interviews are anything to go by. That makes moments when he shows his feelings all the more special. When he kissed Adam’s hand in the middle of a concert, I melted.
