The Queen and Adam Lambert “Once In A Lifetime” tour wraps up tonight at the second sold-out show at the Vector Arena in Auckland, New Zealand. It seems that not long ago we were just getting the news about the tour and now it will soon be over – 35 shows in 6 countries. It truly will become one of the “remember when” concerts for those fortunate to see them live. So break out the champagne and dark chocolate and let’s celebrate this last “Once In A Lifetime” experience! Sleep is so over-rated!

wow. That crowd picture is great. Every seat taken. Seeing the use of the word “current” and run made me very happy. I know Queen and Adam have a lot on their plates for the next several months but I really do think they want to share their brilliance with more folks around the world. Timing needs to take into account Adam’s solo work for his new album. Hmmm.
before I leave.. just read all your posts about the coffee and chocolate and strawberries.. it inspires me to get some icecream to celebrate this last show…
We all need to be extra sweet and supportive of Adam after this. He will be in a much more major withdrawal than us, for sure. I shall tweet him every day how much I love him!

I think it was luval that mentioned earlier how WWTLF’s message is so relevant to the world today. Perhaps Adam really relates to that song in a very special way. Especially as he owns it night after night.

WOW nkd, you have me beat be about 5 years. My brother takes the cake. He saw Queen in concert in 1978 and he still says it was the best concert of his life. He was only 17.
He was semi-interested I going to this tour but I couldn’t get him to follow through.
Not sure I’m going to make the encore…..they started a bit later than yesterday…

I love the tone of Adam’s voice on Radio Gaga. So sweet and pure.
I used to blast “A Night at the Opera” thru the house, had the 8track and still have the album. 1975/76
My husband wondered why they didn’t do “You’re My Best Friend” on this tour at least in the states, it was top 20 here at the time. Maybe because it was written by Deacon?
