The 2014 Queen + Adam Lambert tour reaches its final stop at the Vector Arena in Auckland, NZ. Tonight will see the first of two back-to-back shows at this 12,000 seat arena. This is Queen’s first concert in New Zealand since 1985!

Love these! Adam is so powerful and regal in them.
His strut as he comes back out on the stage in WWRY is just as fabulous as it gets.
And… Is it just me or does Brian & Roger actually look younger than when QAL started this summer tour?
The crowd singing so enthusiastically with Adam in both WWTY & WATC….
I just never get tired of hearing those singalongs.
The looks on their faces… all the joy….and the realization that they are in the presence of something truly special, and unlike anything else.

It’s one of the reasons I adore it so much and why Adam’s delivery of that powerful message is so meaningful. I also feel the same is true of Under Pressure, too. Little bit different flavor to the song… but such an impactful (& inspiring, I think) message the same.

Hi all, Kiwi checking in….not sure how lucid I am after all the various modes of travel, two concerts and a six hour drive home today.
Sorry Melbourne, the concert was great but you can’t match us Kiwis!!!!!! The whole arena was shaking! From fat bottom onwards nobody sat down for anything other than a ballad or a guitar/bass solo. The singing from the audience was deafening.
In Melbourne people were trickling in after 4-5 songs and we kept having to stand to let people out to get more alcohol. It was annoying in the middle of a song…even WWTLF. None of that in NZ. I went with 3 non Adam fan ladies , they all agreed it was the best live concert they’d ever seen and want me to make a DVD for them (it looks like there might be good videos coming through)
I am exhausted and have no voice left but I wouldn’t have missed it for the world.. thank you soooooo much Q+AL. I love you to bits!

No, I drove from Auckland to home. The only flying I did was Auckland to Melbourne.
