The 2014 Queen + Adam Lambert tour reaches its final stop at the Vector Arena in Auckland, NZ. Tonight will see the first of two back-to-back shows at this 12,000 seat arena. This is Queen’s first concert in New Zealand since 1985!

Good Morning!

It’s just after 8am here and I just got up 5 minutes ago and missed your very touching global party, sharing the concert together and the group hug. The comradery, love and respect for one another is wonderful to see! I too still marvel that today’s technology makes it possible for this to happen.

It really seems like only a few weeks ago that Adam and Queen were on Good Morning America when Adam excitedly announced that they were going on tour. Only a few weeks ago and tomorrow is the last show! I’ll never come to terms with time.

After a new show, the clips I always go to first are WWTLF and STL, too. I see that more than a few of us feel the same way.

I can’t get kiwifever’s audio links to play on my end. It indicates “buffering” but I don’t see anything happening and nothing does. Oh well …

So glad that everyone here had such a good time during the show! SOOOO look forward to hearing from Kiwi.

With Queen wrapping its tour with Lambert tonight in Australia, Martel will begin a Queen Extravaganza tour of the U.K. on Friday. Later this fall, he hopes to tour with his own music

Hopefully the QE tour will be long over with by next spring, clearing the way for another round of Q+AL.

Was just listening to WWTLF – most beautiful rendition I’ve heard yet. Can’t wait to see the video of that one.

HK Fan, I’m hoping to visit Hong Kong sometime in the next couple of years. It’s not such a long distance from Honolulu and I’ve always wanted to go there. We’ll have to meet up when I get over there! Have you ever been to Hawaii?

Looks like I could refresh the page with kiwifever’s audios all day and they still won’t play.

Wow, so great to see what a fantastic time you all have been having! Looks like it was an awesome stream and an INCREDIBLE concert.

I was stoked & ready last night to join here in the stream …. excited for my return and waiting patiently for my little virtual music visit to Auckland & Aller camaraderie ….
Next thing I know – it’s 6:45am, I’m still in the same position on the couch with laptop beside me, slept through the alarm and dashing around to get everyone off to school. Alas… having missed – yet, again – another incredible concert & stream. Was just too beat after the vacation and the long trip back…
(chuckling from the irony… tired from vacation. Or simply, the life of a mother? )

So tonight! I’m there, come meteor event or the apocalypse…
I’m not missing it. After all ….. …. it is the last one.
(this year, anyway).

And what a party it’s going to be! Hopefully,
we’ll All be able to show up here for that one.

LOVE, Love how Adam has played with the nuances in this one. He has perfected this beautiful, haunting reverie beyond perfection… and I believe, made it his own. It’s simply ethereal… Stunning in every sense.

And lawwwdddyyy….. the man in those pants. How can a gal take it any longer!?
The visuals in the above WWTLF’s… along with Adam’s stellar vocal craftsmanship… simply stupefying!

I cant even imagine what Kiwi must be feeling – wow! Can hardly wait to hear from her about these events.

I just watched the Official Queen video of WWTLF with Freddie. It was so dramatic, with Freddie bathed in a white light and a children’s choir. I know that QAL has the lights and the silver ball, but they just seem to concentrate the attention on Adam and Brian, and the magnificent purity of the voices (human and guitar). They don’t need all that other stuff (although I did like Roger’s big drums on the old video). I really don’t think that it is just because I am a Glambert, but I this case, Adam has Freddie beat my a country mile. Here is the original:
