The 2014 Queen + Adam Lambert tour reaches its final stop at the Vector Arena in Auckland, NZ. Tonight will see the first of two back-to-back shows at this 12,000 seat arena. This is Queen’s first concert in New Zealand since 1985!

The show is great. the vocals are out of this world, we got the drum and guitar solos, and fingers crossed, the stream has stayed with us just about the whole time
eywflyer Every concert I was at this summer he sounded pitch perfect and then some. Adam is amazing. Words cannot describe the awesomeness of his voice. So many people listen to this pop crap. Ariana Grande, the newest big thing was freaking lipsynching on AGT last night as she did on Ellen too and is worldwide popular! Gaah. Now I have to watch dipstick Adam Levine on AGT tonight. Guess I’ll dvr it and fast forward thru his part later.

What is more important than the last concert of the tour?
Every time I hear WATC I think of Adam’s (and our as his fans) five year journey from the AI finale stage to the Q+AL tour. Pretty amazing.
ITA, Cher, assuming Adam’s cd is due for a late spring release. He will want to get the QAL UK/Euro tour out of the way before he starts his own promo cycle.

eywflyer I had posted in the Vegas 2 thread that as he was doing BoRhap at that concert, I was standing beside suz526 and she had tears in her eyes, her hands on the sides of her face and was saying “Can you believe that he sang this at his audition on American Idol and now he’s fronting Queen! How amazing is that? ” I was thinking the same thing. Totally agreed how far he’s come and how much he’s grown and matured and is the all around performer now…and his voice is even better!!

rs – sometimes what you describe happens to me too – where only part of what I’m copying/pasting in actually shows up. Usually it’s because of some funky little character from twitter that this wordpress interface doesn’t recognize – like all of those cute little emojis and emoticons that people put in their tweets. Delete all of those non-keyboard characters and it should work!

eywflyer and tlkc, I knew QAL couldn’t tour the UK this year because of something niggling at the back of my head that I couldn’t quite remember and here is the reason why!! Thanks twitter!
My brain is messed up sometimes…well most of the time. 
BTW Queen Extravaganza is excellent. There are 4 live singers, 3 guys and a girl and they actually do BoRhap live altogether and it is fabulous! Marc Martel is like a copy of Freddie, looks and piano playing and attitude. He is good but he can’t do all the songs like Adam can hence the other 3 singers. He’s very good though. I have to say I totally enjoyed the QE. Now I am really off.

It isn’t cwm….had to check, cos I didn’t actually know!!! HK is 9,202km away from Honalulu, Jakarta is 11,024km away…..
DD has another rehearsal tomorrow night (3 times a week for the next 3 months !!!!!), but it starts 30 mins later, so hopefully I should just get the end of the show in, yay
I saw Marc Martel and the QE band earlier this year, they performed at the HK Rugby 7’s….a shortish set, only 30 mins, but they did well, sounded good….He’s definitely a copy though…has obviously been studying lots of Freddie videos to get the moves down pat.
