Adam is showing his gay pride this spring. After a successful Miami Beach show, he is bringing his pride to the streets of Pittsburgh. It will be a full 90-minute concert with Joe McElderry and others providing the entertainment prior to Adam and band taking the stage at 9 PMish.

That’s the closest I’ve ever seen Adam come to phoning it in.
And at this venue, so surprising…expected a LOT more.

On the other hand, an Adam concert is an Adam concert and always a good thing! and the audience looked and sounded like they were having a lot of fun.

ETA: Did NOT mean that I thought he phoned it in! Just that it was not one of his best, from what one can tell from a livestream, which is admittedly not much.

He really had to work it. No ladies, no dancers. There was a backing track though. I loved being able to just hear him, and see him move organically.

Can’t tell much about the concert. Most of the audio I heard was people loudly singing along, could barely hear Adam. And the visuals seemed to be unsynced too. From the tweets, I gather it was great, and he really wailed on some songs. One person got the whole concert and will load video tomorrow.
Can’t wait for good vids.

He did speak, I heard him at least twice. Once asked if they wanted to get “funked” deeper, lol, and then if they were ready for rock. Heard more but couldn’t understand.

I adore Dragon Attack. How dare that reviewer insult the worthiness of Dragon Attack! I love that Adam has spotlighted and elevated that lesser known but awesome Queen song by putting it in his set. Also, the show was not less than an hour. It was about 70 minutes from what I could tell.

You know how the twitter list is full of Adam’s fans losing their shit over what a great show it was, tweeting about how fucking hot he was, he rocked the fuck out, full of eyefucks, he was a beast, asked about getting funked deeper, stroked the mikestand, etc. Ok, you get the picture.

Ain’t that the truth! From what I could hear and kinda see on the live-stream, he sounded and looked great. Would love to meet you cwm in San Diego; you write such real posts and so often they are my same thoughts. Curious what we’ll get at Del Mar in the way of back-up singers or dancers or both or none.

Just got up and have begun watching vids and looking at photos (the ones that I didn’t steal a glance at on my I-pad when I woke up in the middle of the night, lol). I just read the not so glowing review, and while I don’t agree with him, there might be something to learn from it if Adam wants to attract new fans. People love singing along to song that they know and Adam’s songbook isn’t well known, except to us, his fans. Everyone knows and loves Queen songs and tons of singers cover them, using them to get the audience involved. cwm , I love Dragon Attack, too, but I didn’t know it the first time I heard it, and it took a few listens for me to understand the words and really appreciate it. I don’t want Adam to drop it from his set, but he could take more advantage of his Queen connection and add a well known song. He sings them so well, people would be reminded that he toured with them, and the whole crowd would join in. I think that it would just add to the fun, unless he thinks that it would take away from his own individuality. IDK.
