Tonight Adam wraps up the European leg of his The Original High Tour (and hopefully there will be more after his Q+AL shows). The Kesselhaus in Munich, Germany is where fans will have their last chance to see this concert. Our poster designer, Augenpoesie, and Cait will be two of those lucky fans!

Sigh. What an awesome show, what an awesome tour. So many moments in this show were so special. The speech that Adam didn’t want to end because he was basking in the love of his audience. The “Danke” signs that touched his heart so much that he wanted a picture of them and to keep them. His being so charmed by the “cute” audience that he wanted to party with them after the show. The way he thanked his crew and team for an awesome tour. The way he said “This tour was AWESOME” at 6:32 in the “Talk” video above – like he really really meant “awesome” in every sense of the word. The way he talked about how great it is that his fans become friends with each other. The way he was so happy and loose and free and present and on fire throughout the whole show because he wanted to leave it ALL on the stage this one last time. The way he couldn’t stop himself from freestyling and riffing and vocally masturbating over and over during that most epic of encores because he just didn’t want it all to end.
It was all so so so so great. I felt so grateful and privileged to be able to watch it on the livestream. I can only imagine how emotional it was to actually be there.
Cait – when you have recovered sufficiently – IF you ever recover – I would love a recap!
I’m feeling sad that the tour has ended, but grateful that it happened, joyous about its success, and so in awe of Adam – and damn proud of him – for what he has created out of his brilliantly talented and creative mind, his huge heart, and his tremendous work ethic. What a spectacular gift he has given to his fans.

Was getting a little teary-eyed by the time I got to the above, so thanks, cwm, so expressing all of this so beautifully.
I sure do hope there is a DVD to purchase at some point, because I’ll be doing that the minute it comes out. Wish I could have seen a live show, but thanks to everyone here who has kept every picture, video and bit of tour news posted on the site!
Back at home finally. Damn that was one hell of the show. My friend is over the moon that he loved her idea “Danke” was a bit of work, printing and handing them out but so glad we did it. Was the perfect end of an amazing tour.

So sorry it took me so long. But I was a mess after the last concert. I needed a bit to get going again. I cant believe what he is doing to all of us. My friends were going through PCD as well. It was the worst ever….but then Munich was the best night ever.
Was at the venue late in the afternoon, first half of the day I enjoyed Munich with my boyfriend (still amazed what he is putting up with lol) Two of my dearest Glamberts were already handing out the signs. I was so happy and totally buffled how well everyone was responding to my friends idea. I had around 200 or more signs printed, my friend brought around 150 and we almost got them all handed out. Really it was great to see. Young teens, adults, parents who just went with their kids – all of them wanted a sign. My friends and I were already on a high before the concert
The support was ok, had heard them before in Hamburg – but we all wanted Adam. It was a weird feeling…knowing it would be the last time, the last concert of the tour. Made me sad and happy…still have tears in my eyes thinking about it.
What to say about the concert? Bloody hell we all were on a row. RIght from the start everyone was just THERE…the crowd, the band, Holly, Terence…Adam was just pumped. More fierce, more right there from the start. WTTS was gaaaaah, FYE was so hot, GT brought down the house….I loved it, still living in my memories.
After Hours was just so sexy and dirty…he was standing almost right in front of me and I was dying. During his speech the signs came up. I think first he didnt read them, just saw “Danke” but then…gosh I never have seen him smile like that. It made me cry, really I had tears running down because he was so happy about them, the band behind him was grinning and happy. My friend, who had the idea, was just going crazy and I was there with her. WWFM was the best I have ever heard and seen. Everyone was singing and screaming. It was such an amazing feeling. I was so hyped and couldnt wait for my favourite part of the concert.
Holly and Terrance had such big grins on their faces after getting back on stage. It was funky, I cant describe how awesome, amazing, freaking incredible the third part was. I was a bit worried because Zurich was so short that we wouldnt get an encore but we even fucking got LETS DANCE. I was praying for it and he slayed it. I was happy, so so happy that I finally got to hear him sing it. It was always one of my favs from Bowie and hearing it, seeing it….I wont ever forget it. It was perfect.
Fever and IIHY out of the world. The hall was exploding, the audience screaming without a break….gosh what an evening.
The encore – it made me speechless lol we all had so much fun, he was so freaking happy and smiley and bubbling. All of them were. We got out the signs again and all of them loved it. I still hear him say “Danke – The other Adam” and his laugh, smile and just freaking happiness.
It was the best. Just the best ever. And now I am crying again. Still so emotional its embarassing but that night…it was EVERYTHING.
I am so glad I got some nice pics to remember it. All 4 shows were special, but Munich was by far the best, funniest and happiest I had the honour to expierence.
Not the recap I thought I would write but I cant do any other way. I tried but this night…I just loved it.

Also, one thing to remember…the best cure for post concert depression is to buy tickets for another concert. I know you have a QAL concert coming up. That should eventually make you feel better.

Pop concerts i.e. Gaga, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Bruno, are choreographed with very small amts of spontaneity between. Not like rock concerts…..duh!
