Never heard Love Kills and now it’s my favorite.
The crowd was not as into it as I would have liked but it was just a warm-up. By the time I started watching they were at the end of Love Kills. Hopefully I can watch the whole thing in a bit or at least the highlights!
Thought it was only going to be audio/radio. Had to do some quick hook-ups to the TV.
Couple of things. Where was Rufus? I prefer Under Pressure to be Roger strictly on vocals, not drumming as well. The guy is going to kill himself halfway through the tour.
Also, the back up vocals were missing from WATC. They will definitely be there for the tour.
Love Kills from Metropolis: Q3 an Talon on adamtopia are having a song list competition. Think they both lost that one. Adam did it proud and that will be awesome in an arena.
So conservatively dressed. Wait ’til the tour!

OMG I am so excited now. I have been trying to keep cool but sqeeeeeeee. Just a taste and I am so stoked. Love Kills was soooo amazing.

I’m disappointed that I couldn’t see anything–not on my computer, not my phone, not my tablet. I could hear it on the iHeart Radio app on my tablet. I hope there will be video available.
For some reason, I did not really enjoy the concert. It was almost too much Adam, not enough Queen. Not that it’s a bad thing, but I don’t want to alienate the Queen fans either. It seemed to me that Adam was showing off a bit with his voice, doing runs that really didn’t fit. Maybe he was a bit perturbed by the comments that he screams and doesn’t have Freddie’s range and wanted to prove something. Maybe if I’d seen it, I would have been caught up in the moment. But just listening, it wasn’t quite what I was hoping for.
Oh not too much Adam at all. You can see a lot of queen fans pumping fists on the video Ellessay and I felt the runs fit just right. So proud of him.

Adam was amazing. He is a true frontman out and on center stage, Freddie was without doubt one of the greatest front men in rock history, and Adam does him proud.

That was incredible. I had no problem with the live feed. The only dropout was at the beginning of “Under Pressure”. Hooked up to my tv screen and it was amazing. Love Kills had the tears running down my face…just gorgeous! I loved the fact that Adam was at least an equal partner to the others. Why not? The die-hard Queen fans will never be won over anyway. Just my insignificant opinion.

Did a quick MP3- I am sure there will be better versions as I just did it on my phone. No real speakers. But, for the time being. Better than nothing.
If they are taking a disco song from Freddie’s first solo effort and rearranging things, I tell you EVERYTHING is on the table. I actually really liked the disco version but this was so much better. You could feel the song more. So cool.
Another funny note it was nominated for a Razzie for the worst original song on the soundtrack for Metropolis and the movie was up for worst original score. LOL
I tell you what, Adam needs material like this. I hope they have some deeper really strongly written songs this time around. Moments like that just show how Freddie (and well, all of them really) were incredible song writers and composers. I hope his label see that.
And wasn’t that Giorgio Moroder who said in an interview that he was working with Adam. Maybe that was what they were working on. I’ll see if I can find it. Anyone remember? I just remember that name from Freddie. Not an easy one to forget.
