The long awaited North American performance of Queen + Adam Lambert is finally taking place at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, NV. The show starts at 7 PM PT (10 PM ET) and goes until 1 AM. With 12 acts, it will be a jam-packed night and Queen and Adam will close the show! A 35 minute set according to Brian May. It’s going to be a great night!

    I’d agree with Ms Chaos that he looked/sounded a bit tense in the beginning (Another one Bites the Dust.) But then became visibly more at ease. Beautiful moments.
    Or maybe it was just me being a little bit tense. Razz
    Definitely looked just gorgeous. Especially next to a regular human being like the FUN singer.

    Hi ALL! Was able to watch the whole thing on my son’s TV thru his playstation. Amazing – and the crowd was definitely into the whole performance. BIG NEWS – Heard them say this is going to be televised in full on the CW channel later on this month!! What awesomeness! Too excited to sleep!!!

    LadyNorth ,Bear conked out on me after half a minute of BoRap ( I guess because I watched a bit of Katy Perry) and I couldn’t get anything else, even on audio, until halfway into FBG. Then it kept going out and I had to refresh, but I could hear enough to tell that he gave it everything with absolutely no holding back, when it was just him and Queen, anyway, and what I could hear of the Band and Brian’s picking was fabulous. Like on the EMAs. They stole the show!

    Have already uninstalled the Bear. It let us down

    That was amazing.Thanks to the PTB for making it available in NZ. I had a friend visiting and asked if she would mind me watching for 30mins. (It was 7pm saturday here) She is converted. She’s now going home with a copy of Kiev and other bits.The stream was almost perfect here.Adam looked totally gorgeous!

    I’m sorry for those of you whose stream didn’t work. It was epic. Vids are on their way, I’m sure!

    I had my computer plugged into my big screen TV, turned up the volume way up, and blissed out for the whole set. Had a stupid happy grin on my face the whole time, except for during WWTLF, when my mouth was gaping open in awe.

    Nate had fun singing STL, but he’s no Adam. God, Adam was perfect. I agree that he seemed just a bit tense at the beginning, but it wasn’t long before he relaxed and kicked it into high gear.

    And he looked gorgeous in all black with that silky shirt, tight jeans, studded belt, and those awesome sexy studded boots. Gah!

    I’m gushing. LOL

    Oh and “Adam Lambert” and #Queen have been trending in the US for quite some time now and still are. And you know that’s not just Adam fans, because fans wouldn’t be referring to him as “Adam Lambert” in their tweets. GO ADAM!

    WWTLF was my favorite. Too bad some songs got cut short, but with Brian May just out of surgery, I think we are super lucky this happened at all. I for one am thrilled with how this went. Excellent exposure.

    rs, how can I uninstall Bear? Brrr… I saw vid stream until WWTLF and heard everything after halfway of STL. But anyway, this was worth getting into mood SmileWaiting for good vids. There will be many I am sure, but it takes time to load them.

    Pulling a Kradamour in more ways than one (see above post). luval got her wish – no droopy drawers! Quite the opposite in fact.
    Other possible big news – my son watched the whole thing with me and I was saying that they should really perform at the Super Bowl and he says maybe they will because they are going back to a multiple artist performance and Bruno Mars is only the first artist that they’ve announced. Anyone else hear of this?

    turquoisewaters – I think they cut some of the songs short and put them together as medleys so that they could fit more songs in, since they only had 35 minutes. I think it was a great solution – it really kept things moving along and we got to hear quite a few songs packed into a short amount of time.

    I’m so happy for and proud of Adam. Huge night for him. Big stakes, and he hit it out of the park.

    I love how the fandom was twitching in unison with nervousness before they started, got all excited in unison when they began, exploded with awe in unison at WWTLF, and then flailed wildly in unison at the end. It’s like we feel and move as a single organism when Adam has a huge high-stakes success like this. It’s amazing how much we all love him, isn’t it?

    Adam was not shaky or nervous at all. The mic went out for a bit on Champions but he just kept going like a pro. I love that song as old and tired as it is it was a crowd favorite. They loved it all. People did leave which sucks and I noticed but the vast majority stayed were like WTF? For example. The guy beside us when they started said “lambert” with an eye roll. After WWTLF he just said “damn!!”

    Listening to the vids now, when I can pick myself up from the floor. WWTLF was mindblowing. I know that a lot of us would prefer other songs than WATC, but it was a smart move. It is a song that the audience loves, and did you see how they all got into it. YAY! And those vocals…like I said before…mindblowing…..thud…

    Another thought, just like some Brits are upset with the thought that Brian and Roger “stooped” so low as to get a cheeky American upstart off of a singing competition to stand in for their beloved Freddie, after seeing this show, I am sure that there are a lot of Americans who are proud that so many years after Freddie died, Brian and Roger finally found someone who was good enough to front for them in a young American singer who came to light on American Idol and got through every week because of the support of the American people. Many people seeing tonight’s show are probably asking themselves, where has he been for the past 4 years? having no idea about the 2 albums or the radio ban.
