When I read my post after, (too late by then), I realized what I wrote and what I meant may have been 2 different things. My bad!! You got what I meant to say anyway, so thats good.
Sorry for not keeping in touch, I don’t get much time to get online and don’t post much. I will keep a lookout for your message. Maybe we may see each other again if Adam ever decides to do something more local to us. I was quite upset that I never got a chance to see any of his trespassing performances live.

In summation, Adam Lambert commanded the iHeartRadio Music Festival stage extremely well and it was the perfect tribute to Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Brian May and Roger Taylor. He put on a flawless concert and it was a standout set from this year’s music festival. Their late front-man Freddie Mercury would have been proud of his spell-binding performance. Lambert proved yet again that he is one of the most underrated male vocalists in contemporary music.

So, hubby and I went to an annual fall/harvest/wine/art/street fest today. And as we were strolling and munching on Kettle Corn ( why, oh why, is that shit sooo delicious?) we stumbled upon a band playing classic rock, covers, and just as we sat down, some familiar chords begin, and they were doing Fat Bottomed Girls. Quite the coincidence. All I could think was “oh right. A cover band covering Queen.” They weren’t too bad actually, however, I had Adam on the Brain and nothing is Adam. Tee Hee and LOL.

WWTLF is the new “Soaked” in our area of the arena there were quiet gasps. It was just spine chilling.
I am luval. Think I haven’t slept since Friday morning. Actually don’t think any of us have slept since AI S8.
Don’t think I’ll make it to work until very late today. 
I’ve been playing a lot of hooky lately.
What an amazing voice!! Just can’t get over the range and beauty of it. I really hope he gets the recognition and airplay that he deserves now. I believe Avicii’s album will start rocking his boat. His iheart performance has people buzzing.
Nicky, incredible vids. Beautiful. Been watching over and over again. That WWTLF was truly spine chilling and I wasn’t even there.
Avicii is a genius. Wake Me Up and Lay Me Down have me hooked on EDM now! And he knows a brilliant singer when he hears one.
I am so hoping for a full Queen/Adam concert here in the US. Pretty please Brian and Roger! Actually I’m pretty sure a few US promoters might be calling soon. Let’s see if they will do it.
luval- I was about to come clean with a full confession when I realized that it was the “next day” when we stopped for our after concert snack at the Stage Deli. My snack was a healthy combination of eggs and cheese…plus sugar, vanilla and a graham cracker crust, in other words, a big ol’ slab of New York cheesecake. Yum, to that too!

Yep, luval. WWTLF live is an epic moment. I bet it has moved up in Queen’s catalogue of songs since Adam starting singing it. His rendition is quite different from Freddie’s. It has a choirboy quality. To me the best version is Ukraine – simply because that was the first time and the a-ha moment. My sister fell in love with him when she saw that.
WWTLF may be one of the reasons that Brian was surpried by his online poll results. Dragon Trilogy was on there, too.
Man, the guys at queenonline are intransigent. It doesn’t help that the Glamberts on there start all their post-show reviews with “Adam was gorgeous and he was wearing…!” I have this image of middle-aged men falling off their chairs in front of their computers in utter disgust.
They are a constipated bunch of little whatsits. Mind you, they probably think we are a bunch of randy little twits. You have to laugh.
Love that version of WWTLF ulti. Is that Virg at 2:15? She’s having a great time. The crowd shots give you a sense of the size of the event.

The recaps are just great! So happy both you girls had such a spectacular time and were not disappointed – isn’t that boy a marvel. All the time and effort to get there – so worth it. And love what Cher said about not sleeping since S8 – truer words – lol).
LOL TLKC, I hope that for every middle-aged fart falling off his chair there are two or three younger fans introduced to Queen’s marvelous music through Adam, just as Roger and Brian said in their interview. Those fans probably don’t know or care about that hard-to-find obscure little forum where they spew their crap in tiny England. I mean, let’s face it – isn’t Queen a worldwide phenomenon with millions of fans all over? Most of the nasty comments I have seen on YouTube are from Brits and Eastern Europeans from the most homophobic countries, lol, many dissing Adam for not being Freddie and being gay. I love going on to remind them Freddie was gay. I think many were toddlers when he died.

About the Super Bowl….for sheer TV exposure, great. But, it would be another very short set and outdoors in possible freezing and/or bad weather. Don’t know if Brian and Roger are up for that.
The Europe/London shows were 2 hours 20 minutes. IMHO that is really the best scenario to really showcase their music, wade into their songs and huge catalog (over 350 published songs) with great guitar riffs, etc.
I would just love a full Madison Square Garden series, televised, or something similar. They’re not getting any younger – May not be up for a lot of trucking around.
Ok, post ho here. Just want to say, I think the sound from the iHeart stream is not that good, seemed to distort A’s voice a little, whereas the fan videos have much better sound.
Something similar happened with the EMAs but not as bad. I have audience vids I was lucky enough to download before they took them all down with really good sound.
ITA, riskylady. Super Bowl day could be a blizzard! I think this may be the first time in years SB has been in an outdoor stadium with no roof to close.

Just got an e-mail from my drummer friend
Here’s a guy I’ve known for years that was just “meh” about Adam. But little by little he’s come around. He’s been in the music business all his life as a drummer & piano player…the Blues genre. I think I’ve won him over.

I had a nutella milkshake with whole hazelnuts on top (and a large burger of course) at The Burger Bar between Luxor and Mandalay Bay. Awesome. Next month I won’t have a dieter with me so no holding back!! They have a large Chinatown there so I go there to eat often as well. Now why did you make me start talking about food? shame on you luval and mmm222! Adam and food. My two weaknesses.

luval I couldn’t do any Vegas buffets a few weeks ago when I was there because my friend is on a diet but I have had the Luxor buffet before but not the bread pudding.
