Well, I was the one who begged for an early posting of the thread so it only seemed right to start it, once it was there. From there it’s a short step to wanting to be Adam and then I remembered what we said about the “winner” (i.e. Adam) being so kind as to take the dreaded #3 spot.
You’re right: in spirit I shape-shifted from eager beaver, to greedy wannabee to do-gooder. Visually, I went from cute kid to dorky in glasses. Watching carefully for the 9th comment ‘cos if I am to look like anyone, I want it to be Megan.

Seems like the promoter booked Adam into too large of a place – capacity is over 12000.
From looking at ticket availability earlier, and from the photos I have seen, this venue may be rather empty

Well that’s a wrap. Onward and upward to Helsinki. Sad to say: if Adam didn’t add Stay or TFM to this shortened list, we may not see either of them on Friday. You never know, though. It’s the last time for them all to perform together for a while. Could be big.

I listened to the whole stream. The concert was 80 minutes long (only started 20 minutes late!) including the two-song encore and less one costume change and the skit. So Adam was on stage for a long time. The glaring ommission was Fever and I imagine it was because of the severe homophobia of the government in St Petersburg. I wonder if they asked him not to sing it. Other activists like Gaga and Madona make lots of noise about what is going on there, but Adam is doing so much more IMO by going there and performing and being himself. It would do the cause no good if he made a stink and got himself banned or arrested. The only result would be that fewer people would see that a Gay man can be a wonderful artist, non threatening, and and great ambassador for the building of bridges, mutual respect, and understanding. (like in that great photo with Terrence and the security guard)

TLKC, I think that songs like Stay, Underneath, And Broken Open (from the GNT) are only for his Far Eastern audiences. He knows his fans and where they will be quiet during the songs.

It was nice to hear BTIKM live, I liked it. But nothing can beat Stay/Underneath! So I guess I am an Asian fan

Listening to the stream now. Noticed there was no “take it off boys” at the beginning of “Naked Love”. The recorded stream is 74 minutes long but I’m not sure if it is the complete concert.
