Shout it out Adam! Glamberts around the world cannot wait. And it’s Cape Town that will have the distinction of experiencing a couple of firsts: first time that Adam has performed in South Africa and first time for the new “vibe” show. He will be performing in the Grand Arena at the GrandWest Casino in Cape Town. According to a report on twitter, the concert was SOLD OUT!
The set is said to be 90 minutes and the Glamily now includes dancers Terrance Spencer and Johnny Rice. It will be interesting to see what songs have been chosen and what the dancers will add to the show.
The concert opens with local artist, Toya DeLazy at 8 PM SAST (1 PM EST, 10 AM PDT) so expect Adam to be on around 9 PMish.

Loving all those costumes! I have to admit that my favorite is the first one (Trespassing outfit) with the second one (blue pants and jacket) as my second fav. No doubt in my mind that Adam has complete control over his wardrobe for these shows.
This concert is huge for Adam. The fact that it was sold out to well over 5,000 audience peeps speaks volumes as to his worth right now as a global superstar in the making. I, too, wish to have more of this going on right here in the United States. However, I am thrilled beyond belief for Adam’s enormous success no matter where that airplane takes him.
I really like IIHY as the opening song although there was no jumping!
LOVE POP THAT LOCK!!! the dancing was great and in sync.The cho cho train move was cute. Johnny Rice & Terrance are a bit manic to me. I miss the female dancer dynamic a bit. But all in all as I mentioned, I think everything will improve as time goes on.
And I want an official announcement of a World Tour!!!! To me this is just practice and testing out things. I really feel like it will happen. Queen too. Patience.

I loved the dancing in this and feel it will get much tighter as shows go on. I really feel like Adam knows his audience, according to tweets, there was a big gay contingent tonight, I bet the “banjee boys” were a hit! Hell they were a hit with me. LOL

Loved the, oh so campy, Cuckoo. Especially those straps flying everywhere. And Underneath, WOW, I always miss the glory notes that I am used to on the album but then come to look forward to all the new interpretations.

Dcglam, I noticed that before..
We are pretty good at highjacking threads that’s why Adam gets his own thread once in a while..
The dancing of T&J sometimes, to me, seemed a bit disorganized – would like crisper movements. Would also like them, when Adam is dressed in that great suit, to also be dressed in jackets, rather than the loose shirts. And T should lose the cap, I think. Not there, of course, and perhaps they came across better at the concert. (They are pretty.)
I’m sure changes will be made as they tighten things up.
And – this will probably be a minority opinion – but I like this live version of Underneath better than the recording which is so angst-filled I skip over it many times.
Agree that this 5,000-plus concert is a great advertisement for him – the boy is a consummate entertainer. He deserves the world’s attention.

Seeing Adam live is an incredible, addictive experience. He’s conquering the world! South Africa is the latest country to fall. I can’t wait to see all the videos from this concert. Underneath is just beautiful. I like this stripped down version. The soaring vocals and raw emotion remind me of Soaked in the GNT. I also love the visual effect of all the costumes, especially the Trespassing outfits on Adam and the dancers. What a striking sight!
