“I’ve got a whole new set-list and it’ll be a completely different vibe.”
Shout it out Adam! Glamberts around the world cannot wait. And it’s Cape Town that will have the distinction of experiencing a couple of firsts: first time that Adam has performed in South Africa and first time for the new “vibe” show. He will be performing in the Grand Arena at the GrandWest Casino in Cape Town. According to a report on twitter, the concert was SOLD OUT!
The set is said to be 90 minutes and the Glamily now includes dancers Terrance Spencer and Johnny Rice. It will be interesting to see what songs have been chosen and what the dancers will add to the show.
The concert opens with local artist, Toya DeLazy at 8 PM SAST (1 PM EST, 10 AM PDT) so expect Adam to be on around 9 PMish.

mils, I know. I’d love to listen to Underneath all the way through. I have tried so many times. But my heart races. I literally can’t breathe. I tremble. I turn cold.
I’ve tried everything I know how to do to last through the song…but I just feel as though my whole being might just stop and it is dangerous to continue to listen. I can’t explain it, it is as though my brain just goes dark…no, that isn’t it. I just can’t explain. It goes beyond pain, beyond anything I have ever felt or experienced, and I have sadly experienced some unspeakable things in my 29 years. Even thinking about the song is hard, and it has been months since I tried to listen to it. After the last attempt I felt disoriented for hours, couldn’t sit still or focus. (shakes head)
Maybe I’ll try to work backwards from the end. I just think it is dangerous for me, and I’m not sure why.

At work and having palpitations! Sounds amazing and I can’t see anything for another 6 hours because I have a committee meeting tonight and am working late. Can’t wait to hear Underneath live. Ron will be so happy that Strut is in the line-up! I feel the same way about Fame – not a favourite – but if Adam does that rolly thing he did on the AI tour, I think I can live with it.

How I would love to see this live…I think we will, but I think that those who have said that Adam will take his show around the world first this time are probably right.

Hi everyone, I debated not going out in order to stay home and watch the live stream, but I am so glad that I didn’t change my plans. When I got home I found the talc vids and am in awe of the raw power and emotion of Underneath, I am typing this from a puddle on the floor. Of course, the screams were annoying, but I guess to be expected. When he sings it at the Grammys (my dream) they will be quiet. That new OOL was quite a surprise. I liked the Jamaican vibe, but it changes the whole mood< and maybe meaning? of the song. And the clip of Fame showed how he has matured as a performer since the AI tour. Anyway, from what we have seen, the concert was epic! There is no question in my mind that Adam is putting together a real Trespassing tour and it will be fabulous. Maybe he will even bring it here….

I just love reading all of the “AMAZEBALLS!!” “EPIC!!” “PHENOMENAL!!” tweets coming from the SA fans at the show. So happy that Adam gave them such a fantastic show, and they obviously very eagerly lapped it all up and are now in an Adam stupor.

And I see glam feet too. Maybe the lights go down and he has someone (Neil?) rip off the first jacket & replace it with the next one with the speed of light? And it doesn’t seem like there was any dancer “intermission”.
I really think all this will get changed around. They really didn’t have any time to rehearse. I mean most bands take weeks to rehearse before heading to the road.
