After much anticipation, we are finally going to see (and hear) Adam back on the network where we first met him: Fox TV. He plays Elliott (Starchild) Gilbert on Glee and is to have a recurring role. That also means that after each appearance new music will be available on iTunes and Amazon! Glee airs Thursdays at 9/8c on FOX.
This thread will be the place for everything Glee starting with the first show on November 7, 2013. So please post any interviews, photos, links here and if there is anything from previous threads that you feel should be here, feel free to bring it over!

Got to thinking even more how so many of Adam’s songs would be perfect for Glee.
I commented on The Fox on the main thread. How are we doing this, a whole Glee thread or one thread per episode? Confused about where to post.
By the way, “the fox knows many things – the hedgehog know one big thing”. Maybe Demi and Adam are machinating foxes and a hedgehog will give them their come-uppance. Nemesis has to start soon.

TLKC, I think the intent is for all things Glee-related to be here in this thread, rather than only around a new episode. Too confusing otherwise. I am just keeping both tabs open.

Luval and I saw Ylvis singing The Fox at the iHeart concert. It was toward the end of the show. They were prancing around in those silly costumes on the catwalk making animal noises. Luval and I said to each other, “WTH is that?” and proceeded to ignore them hoping it would be over soon so they would get on with the show. Now, after watching the You Tube video, I sort of get it. The song has a nice melody in parts when they aren’t making animal noises. It seems like a waste of Demi’s and Adam’s voices, but I’m sure they’ll make it sound great. I can just imagine the corny dance routine the cast will come up with to accompany it.
Adam and Chris will definitely kill “I Believe in a Thing Called Love”. But after listening to the lyrics, I’m confused. Are they singing it to each other or is each of them singing it to someone else? Can they be each other’s love interest at the same time as Elliott is Kurt’s nemesis? I guess we’ll just have to see how this plays out. But patience is not a virtue of us Glamberts.
OK, I’ll be the odd one out and say that I kinda like the Fox song – my grand-daughters love it and dance around the room (as do I
) when I play it for them (yep, it’s on my Ipod). It’s catchy and easy to sing along to and currently topical, so Glee using it makes sense since they are trying to appeal to a young audience. Adam will make it interesting and fun too, I’m sure.

. I was at a wedding recently and bum-danced (i.e. danced while sitting) to that song – I couldn’t sit still despite having back spasms, LOL. Adam’s “Fever” does that to me too – it SHOULD have been a huge hit, BTW! Flaming radio stations didn’t play it though

Quick question about episode 9 – the one with the StarKurt duet – some people say it’s not going to be shown until AFTER the haitus. Some say it is running right after the Christmas episode, which is on December 5th. Anyone know the actual answer?

When I watch the MTN vid posted above, sometimes the “like” button is green (obviously when I click on it) and sometimes black. I always refresh if going to watch again. Seems though that there has to be a certain length of time before it turns black again.
In the past, I can tell if I’ve watched a video by the “like” button being green – but here it changes for me – occasionally turning black again.

Wetpaint is trolling for hits by building a mountain out of the molehill made by the StarKurt diner encounter. How far the diner sparks will play out is very up-in-the-air. Kurt might just go through half a dozen fits of angst or they could have a fling.
IMHO, if Kurt doesn’t cheat on Blaine with Adam, he will do it with someone else. As one of the posters on Wetpaint says, Klaine is endgame. Something has to make Klaine interesting over the remaining 30 plus series episodes, however. Might as well be Adam. It would open the door for him returning for the last few episodes of Season 6 to create last minute tension over the inevitable wedding.

Caught the tale end of the Bob & Tom show on the radio this morning. It’s a syndicated show (irreverent comedy) and their last guest was someone from Glee. Bob or Tom says something like “geez, Glee…that has a huge following, right?” The guest says oh yeah, this is our fifth year, one more to go and possibly more”.
Now I’m paraphrasing but I really think if the ratings hold it will continue. I remember too the scroll on “E” a few weeks ago which said something similar…that contrary to reports Glee’s 6th season may not be the last.
Am trying to find out who this guest was but because it’s syndicated, today’s show was taped…not live and it costs to join their “club” to get audio.
I could be wrong, and if it means more Adam on TV, I hope I am, but I don’t think there is any way Glee, or a spin off, will continue. I kind of think next year will be a short one unless, of course, the ratings soar. Right now they are at a series low and if they didn’t already have the option picked up for this year and next, I think it would have been cancelled already. Ryan Murphy said next year is the end and with ratings so low no network is going to go for a spin off. The show is struggling to get 4 million people watching and a 1.5 rating (Most want a 2.5 at least). Look at for example, Body of Proof, averaged 11 million people but rarely could get above a 2.0 and that show was cancelled. The only shows that survive such poor ratings are reality shows that have extremely low budgets compared to scripted TV. Glee has been saved by overseas interest and syndication deals. When you can’t show advertisers that you have the demo they want, ad prices plummet and then it doesn’t pay for the network to continue. If Glee had a 4.0 and only had 5 million viewers it would continue but low overall numbers and a low demo in a show that used to pull in demo numbers closer to a 5.0 is really bad.
I still think Adam will get more TV projects (or possibly movies) from this and he is being so well received who knows, the buzz might just bring back ratings. All in all still a HUGE positive for him and us!

I am like that when a show gets to hard to keep up with I either give up or put it on my list to download later and watch it whenever I get to it. Like the Mentalist. Lost it and will probably watch the season sometime in the spring/summer, whenever reruns hit.
I really tried to watch the X Factor last night. It is a train wreck. I taped it and watched it in about 30 minutes. I just don’t get any of the talent. I guess the duo is okay but not much talent.
I love The Mentalist! It is one of the American shows I follow and watch on the computer. I love his smile
I don’t understand all the long breaks in Glee….I mean 3 episodes then off for several weeks, then another 3 episodes or so then off for months….no wonder no one can get invested in it…

I watched last night. Unigue’s performance was very moving and beautifully done. I had a bit of trouble with the Funny Girl scene. Rachel seemed to alternate between being herself and channeling Barbra Streisand. Love Ioan Gryffud, though, and am waiting for the sparks to fly. Something tells me Rachel is going to be the object of a battle-to-the-finish between her leading man and director.
The last song bugged me all night – this morning I figured it out. The melody is a complete rip-off of Nelly Furtado’s “All Good Things Come To an End”.
Can’t wait for Adam to show up again.
