After much anticipation, we are finally going to see (and hear) Adam back on the network where we first met him: Fox TV. He plays Elliott (Starchild) Gilbert on Glee and is to have a recurring role. That also means that after each appearance new music will be available on iTunes and Amazon! Glee airs Thursdays at 9/8c on FOX.
This thread will be the place for everything Glee starting with the first show on November 7, 2013. So please post any interviews, photos, links here and if there is anything from previous threads that you feel should be here, feel free to bring it over!

I love the love, too, and the sentiment behind wanting him to have his own show, but in reality, NO! NOT NOW! A show of his own would mean tying him down to long hard days on the set leaving no time for his own music, Queen, Avicci, touring, movies and all the other fabulous things that are coming his way. Maybe in another 10-15 years when he wants to settle down a bit and stay in one place, maybe start a family

I must admit, when they were in the diner I did think there was a little spark between them, but I don’t want to see them hook up….I’d really like Adam to be straight in the show, to quieten the naysayers that just say he is being himself….

I have watched that diner scene countless times already and I do see the spark. It is made first through the eye contact. It is so obvious that they are looking into each other’s eyes while they are talking to each other. And the timing of their reactions just shows them to be on the same wavelength. I don’t want a Kurt/Elliot romance either. I am already
dreadingwondering what will be the story arc and the end of what they are saying will be a 5 episode run. Will Blaine come to New York and get jealous/fall for Elliot, too (how could he resist?) so Starchild is forced to leave the band because the tension is just too much for them to handle?Got to go now and pick up my guests and bring them to me for the day.
How about Blaine comes to NY see’s kurt has fallen for Elliots charms (unrequited) as Elliot has fallen for someone else, but realises there’s no future for him and Kurt so leaves NY leaving the way open for Elliot to stay in NY and the band…..
Would much rather see lots more Adam than Blaine….Darren Criss seems nice but doesn’t do a lot for me, and from what I’ve been seeing on message boards the last couple of days, isn’t a fan favourite.

Marry the Night is getting near 300,000 views! Have sent it to everyone I know (along with the diner scene).
Funny, but I don’t see the connection with Kurt and Adam in the diner scene. Adam has said when he’s talking to someone he looks directly in their eyes. Those eye beams are hypnotic and he is always flirting with them but not in the way you want.LOL!
I don’t see an attraction between them. Not sure where I would like the story line to go. Can’t wait to see what happens.
As far as his own show? hmmmmmm Maybe not right now. I do hope Glee spins off Lea’s show or totally takes it to New York like many have said. It’s a bit older group and probably so many story lines to develop.
Okay, so here’s an interpretation from a long-time Glee fan ( me ) :
This whole episode was waaay more sexy and mature than I’ve hardly ever seen on Glee before. The boys were very naked in Roar, and clearly showing their bodies that belies their chronological ages not their Glee High School ages.
The make-out scene had hand over boob, hand going up skirt, which is more than I’ve ever seen on Glee. Very interesting, since they have had a pregnant cheerleader, and even had an episode where several couples all lost their virginity. And it was done tastefully. Even Kurt and Blaine.
And what’s up with the school nurse crushing on a student? That would be a newspaper headline in every state in the US. But in Glee-world reality, it’s happening. Never mind that I like the two together, and Chord Overstreet is super cute.
Was there a spark between Kurt and Elliott? Yup. You betcha.
That being said, I also was hoping that Adam’s character would be straight. Just to play against type, and show his acting chops even more.
But, he’ll be a gay character on Glee. C’mon. He sewed his own costume and “got” the Project Runway reference!
I can see Curt being drawn to him, even if he is engaged. I can see that the writers would want to mess with the engagement, these are young characters who are living apart. Blaine already cheated, with someone named Eli, who was not shown on camera, interesting, isn’t it?
Engaged isn’t married. I could see a plot line that does have them becoming involved, and causing emotional turmoil, then, leaving the show because it ends up bringing Curt and Blaine closer.
Or.
Starchild becomes famous, causing much jealousy in the band, and he goes off to pursue his own career.
or.
Elliott is bisexual. He does both Curt and Rachel. Nemesis.
Maybe Elliott will be the one to help Rachel “back to life” after losing Finn?
And then break her heart. In true Glee style.
I want Adam to play a straight guy as well and have something going on between him and Rachel. Not that they have to get together, but some serious flirting would be great. And then at the same time have Kurt attracted to Starchild, but still in love with Blaine, and having Blaine get a bit jealous. When I read this back, I have the whole show be about Adam.. I guess I am getting greedy..lol

Since Demi apparently has a 5-episode arc (or thereabouts), that might mean that both Dani and Elliott would be leaving the show at about the same time. I wonder if that means that the band might split up. Maybe Kurt will decide that he no longer wants to be in a band and wants to go in a different direction, or Dani and Santana will have relationship problems and break up, and the whole thing will implode.
Re: Kurt/Elliott: I definitely saw chemistry between Kurt and Elliott, but honestly, I don’t know whether it was intentional or not. Adam just has this natural way of being so warm and earnest and personable, and when he engages those eyes and that smile? BAM. Chemistry. Whether it was intended as flirtatious or not.
I can say this – my twitter feed is greatly amused by all of the Kurt-Elliott (Starkurt? Kurlliott?) shipping that has immediately been borne in the Glee world. People are into it. Except the rabid Klainers of course. Should be fun to see where this goes.
I just hope that the Glee writers and producers make really good use of Adam’s character and Adam’s talent. There is so much potential there for interesting storylines and exciting performances, I hope they don’t waste it. Demi too.

The man is a seduction machine – it’s just part of his personality – male – female – whatever – doesn’t matter – he wants to bring them in. Must know his power – probably enjoys it.
I interpret the diner scene simply as Elliott showing Kurt what a sweet, sincere, and charming guy he really is. I can see Kurt falling for Elliott, while at the same time feeling very threatened by him, both his talent and his charm, not to mention his killer looks. If Elliott usurps Kurt’s place as band leader, intentionally or not, or he becomes close friends with Rachel, that would cause a lot of tension between Kurt and Elliott, making Elliott Kurt’s “nemesis”.
If Elliott has a romantic connection with anyone, I think it’s more likely to be Rachel than Kurt, but with Glee you never know what to expect. With the exception of Chris Colfer, gay actors and actresses usually play straight characters on the show and vice versa. One of my favorite examples is Jonathan Groff, who is gay and Lea Michele’s real life best friend. He played her boyfriend, Jesse, from Vocal Adrenaline in Season 1. This performance was their break up song, but is beautiful and, in the dance scenes, charged with sexual tension.

Still in a Glamfog over Glee (only way out is to watch A’s parts over and over until the heat from the TV dissipates the fog; working on it).
This bump is having a little staying power, Trespassing was at #103 Pop 20 mins ago, and I just checked and is now at #101! I know it’s not huge volume-wise, but if they’re liking it they’ll spread word-of-mouth, and become fans for the future hopefully!

Now to address the IMPORTANT issue: I too sensed chemistry between Adam and Chris – and I don’t just mean their characters. WHAT IF????? Wouldn’t be the first time costars fall for each other. J/k (sort of).
But, I also sensed some chemistry with Demi’s character, which is a problem cause of her storyline. Would love for him to fall for Rachel who unfortunately isn’t ready for anything. He could after all be bi, as someone has suggested.
Possibilities are multiple, curious to see MORE!!!!

Here’s my thought on Elliot/Starchild. I agree that with the way they have introduced his character that he is not likely to be straight. However, I think the best scenario is for him to be bi. The show has had several characters that are gay already. It is obvious that he would be attractive to both males and females. Glee did this with Brittany but hasn’t had a male bi character. They seemed to flirt with that idea with Sam but he’s straight. What if Santana found herself attracted to him? It would give her new insight to what Brittany went through and it’s not a stretch as Santana had plenty of relationships with guys before – but, of course, Elliot is different. Kurt is definitely flirting with Elliot in the diner with that question about where he’s from (if you say Ohio, I’ll die). With both Santana and Kurt interested in him, it will cause a lot of tension in the band. Elliot will be confused because he’s been so busy pursuing his dreams, he hasn’t had time or hasn’t wanted a relationship with someone. He’ll confide all this to Rachel and they will become very close – best friends. Blaine will come to NY and be so upset that Kurt is interested in Elliot that they will put the engagement on hold. Elliot will get the understudy male lead for Funny Girl and he and Rachel will become inseparable. They will have to kiss during rehearsals and sparks will fly. When Kurt finds out, he will make a huge scene. Elliot will kiss him to calm him down. Elliot will avoid everyone and not come to band rehearsal for several weeks. The band will split up (probably right around the time of Nationals so Kurt can help New Directions). Elliot will leave NYC for some huge opportunity of a lifetime (on par with being the frontman for Queen) but leave open the possibility of his returning.
Okay, enough screenwriting for the night. Don’t know why I do this to myself. Now I will be disappointed if this storyline doesn’t work out!

HK fan, I’m thinking the next two episodes have already been filmed and at this point it might be too much trouble to edit or change them. Since Adam’s debut was such a hit they just might have time to play around with his next episode (the 28th) and give him more screen time.
