After a long break, GLEE is finally back and is now on Tuesday nights. Adam continues his role as Elliott (Starchild) Gilbert and will be in a few episodes with the first one airing on Feb. 25th. New music will be available on iTunes and Amazon as before. And check out the links below and the GLEE youtube channel for videos of all songs performed.

    I know this show isn’t for everyone but I really like the New York story line. Lima glee club is over, kids are growing up…was time to move on.

    … I really did enjoy Adam Lambert as Elliott again, though. He’s probably my favorite part of the season. He has really found his niche in Glee, which is great for the show. I just wish they would showcase him more. Plus, his songs bring more life to the screen too.

    ulti thanks for posting the vimeo. Seems like they cut out all of Kurt’s parts in RS leaving just Adam. That’s ok with me. The only good part about Adam’s very limited on-air time is that they left the window wide open for his coming back next season. The way Ryan Murphy uses time lapses in Glee, Season 6 could be many months in the future. Folks on twitter are going crazy over Adam on Glee. Can’t believe that he and Ryan won’t try to squeeze other episodes in next year.

    Going over to the April chat to see if peeps are flailing over Supersonic in Korea and Japan. Our boy certainly is a world wide super star!

    In spite of the paucity of screen time for Elliott, I did enjoy last night’s show. I’m glad to see the story shift to NYC. The Lima plot had gotten so stale. I had expected some kind of exit for Elliott, but am pleased with the way the writers are handling his character. He is still in the band and he is Kurt’s closest friend outside of the Lima group. That leaves the door open for Elliott to be seamlessly worked back into the plot next season. Honestly, Adam/Elliott is the best thing that has happened to Glee in years.

    One plot development that really irks me and proves that Glee really is a comedy, or perhaps a fantasy, is that Blaine got into NYADA on his first try and Elliott did not. How implausible is that???

    As implausible as KA winning season 8.
    As implausible as Adam being turned down for WWRY musical.
    As implausible as Adam not being played on the radio
    And many other things he has been denied.

    Now that Glee seems to be over (for now), I have to say this Glee stint was all win for Adam. He has really proven himself. Honestly, I was not so sure he could pull off the acting. Thought this could get pretty cringeworthy. But he showed me. And he was such a likeable character and fantastic performer (well, I knew that part).

    Love this analysis of Adam’s role on Glee. I had been thinking that he is the only one there who isn’t a “drama queen”, and how nice it is that he is a good friend who listens, injects the voice of reason, and has a killer singing voice! Kind of like Adam in real life, no? (the one who wrote Broken Open)

    Terrific article, rs – great natural acting ability – so true – the “realness” of his character just came through the screen – wouldn’t be surprised if this is a characteristic of all fine actors – very interesting.
