    Hope everyone at the concert has a wonderful time and will report back on their impressions. I find this venue so fascinating as well. It was built in the 50’s and was soon the hangout for the Rat Pack as well as mafia boss Sam Giancana. It’s been featured in movies like The Bellboy, Goldfinger, and Scarface. The son of the original owner and his mother were both murdered by his stripper wife so that she could inherit the hotel. She and her brother were convicted of both murders. This place has such a storied past that I think Adam would find so interesting. I do anyway.

    Another Rat Pack tie in to a recent Adam concert in Miami. The main benefactor behind the Make-A-Wish concert, Al Malnik was a lawyer in the entertainment industry and was friends with Frank Sinatra and and Dean Martin. Google his name for some other interesting stuff.

    Like the rat pack so much better than the brat pack.

    I mentioned this on the November thread. Regarding the video to vote for Sauli. Hairkut looks like the new one. But color is either a dark brown rinse or cinnamon rinse depending when the video was shot. I think he decided to go back to dark. We’ll see later!

    Definitely confirmed Al They called my room to tell us changed to LIV due to weather conditions.

    One of my girlfriends staying with me for concert just rode the elevator with Adam and a 7 foot bodyguard. Says Adam’s hair looks blonde on top. She said “Hi Adam”! And he said “Hi!” and smiled at her. He was wearing all black.

    luval She says to tell you that Adam is tall but was completely blocked by the bodyguard. She said the bodyguard was huge and wearing an earpiece and that made her look to see why he was in the elevator and then she saw Adam right behind him. Laugh

    Dang, so bummed that I couldn’t go tonight, Adam’s practically in my backyard! So close yet so far. Like Alot of you, couldn’t go because family is all together for Thanksgiving, oldest boy home from college.

    Just spoke to a little bird here. Bodyguard is one of their security guards. He said Adam’s handler, not Adam asked for him to be taken to a different dropoff last night.
    2,000 tickets sold. Already talking about bringing him back next year due to amazing response. Says LIV can pack in 3,000 people. Ugh Am not in line yet.

    I agree. Cos2mwiz2 is one of the great videographers at Adam’s shows. Does lots of filming. Don’t think livestream though.

    Thanks, AL, for the head’s up about the full size, zoomable poster from mlg; she’s amazing in the way she blends the elements of her work. I love the “bouquet” the band makes at the bottom and the defining touches of blue/turquoise in Adam’s jacket, the venue’s ad board, and the lettering at the bottom. Just Wow! And of course the full color pic on the top right (one of my favorites)does draw the eye…

    If Adam is doing M&G now, the show will probably start around 9 PM. I just got off my roof having spent 4 hours cleaning the moss off it so Santa and his Reindeer won’t slip when they come! Wink
    Glad to see that the concert start is later than expected – probably due to the venue change?! Thinking Yup, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it! Heh
