Adam kicks off his recently named “We Are Glamily” tour (or as some of us in North America are calling it, the “Anywhere But Here” tour) at AX-Korea Hall in Seoul, South Korea. This venue has a capacity of 3090, and appears to be sold out. Tonight’s show is scheduled to begin at 7 PM Seoul time (5 AM EST, 2 AM PST). See the world clock below for show times in your area.
This short international tour will take Adam to 1716 dates in 1110 countries during the next 5 weeks, ending in Helsinki, Finland on March 22. (late word has come in that the Philippines show scheduled for March 1 has been cancelled).

ETA Obviously I’m not from Planet Fierce as I’m not glittery nor too quick with a response! More like from planet mundane.
Forgot to mention how I LOOOOVVE that grey suit, it was my fave from Divas. I’m very surprised that he chose it for these concerts as it is sort of conservative, but it plays so nicely against all the pattern and color on stage and actually stands out.
I made myself an MP3 of the video that has Stay/Underneath on it, and also downloaded the Stay alone from theaterian. MY GOD! Just on my little old iPod Nano they make you weep. His voice was just satin and quicksilver, don’t think I’ve ever heard such beauty. Love this comment from Idolator because it’s so true in its simplicity:
That “tone” is so unusual for a tenor. If you listen to others, they mostly have a more shrill, sharp tone, whereas Adam’s is more bell-like and pleasing. It really sets him apart.
I agree nkd about the glittery freckles, and I think also some goldenish glitter from just the normal light auburnish hairs on his back. RESEARCH needs to be done, just as seriously as the research we did about the nob/bump (which by the way was totally not visible here – damn, he either covered it up or we were wrong).
Somehow, thinking of him sitting outside the door listening to the fans singing his songs makes me somewhat sad – wonder what was in his mind – wishing his country would accept him like that and that he could tour there (that must have been disappointing). Or just happy that he and his music are so loved in foreign lands. Mixed feelings here – whatcha think?
Ha, also, I can really identify with lain upon meeting Adam, where she’s not even sure if she said something or not and went into a sort of trance. Happened to me at London GNT too – total blackout.

I finally caught up with all the videos. Love the enhanced version of “Stay”. Loved the whole concert. I can’t help but have this visceral reaction, uncontrollable chin quivering, when the audience cheers for certain notes that Adam hits. That crowd was certainly with him every step of the way. Just when I think he’s never sounded better … he does! He keeps topping himself.
It’s taken me this long to catch up with the videos because I’ve been watching my own video/DVD that was given to my yesterday. TLKC wasn’t able to get the whole gang together until yesterday to have a little birthday celebration for me. I made my own video showing all of the (Adam related) birthday presents I received! I didn’t expect anything! Just being together is everything I could need or want. I hesitate to post the video because I’m
very drunka wee bit “tipsy” in it. I don’t think that it’s that obvious but … I am.Still, I would like to show you all the goodies and tell you about the DVD.

luval, my thoughts exactly. Leaving the strategy to the “experts” hasn’t worked out so well during the Trespassing era, at least not in North America.
Adam is getting a lot of love from the music press for the ‘Stay’ cover, why not try to capitalize on that?
I think Adam maybe invested in some improved sound equipment in addition to the stage materials and setup. I see some Queen influence in the opening – all good! And, I think Brian deserves some credit for the beautiful arrangement for Stay and Underneath together. Overall, I thought the band did great, the dancers were good as were the backups. Vocals really are the focus, very little other stuff going on and very few concerts nowadays are like that (they don’t have the VOCALIST).

On another note, holy crap, just now catching up with more vids and all the PR, and am amazed by the audience love and how they sang and he listened after the show. His smiles and joy were off the hook during Trasspassing.
The whole show was “tighter.” Much better choreo, much better set and lighting, just much more professional. It shows.
Muwahaha. He does lurk and listen to us. ( oh. if only…)

Can I say how much I love that Broken English performance! That was just WOW! He is such a star.
I was thinking, Over Here, we have a lot of other styles of music, Rap, UG, and Country which is fine, but takes up most of the country, so how does Adam and his style fit in? I dont think there is Country in Korea, or Japan, or little of it. No Cowboys lol, so this is part of why he isnt so popular here, and so much in Europe and Asia. So what do I know. Really, was Micheal Jackson that popular here as opposed to Europe Asia and everywhere he performed.
