Mr. Lambert Goes to Washington…to perform for a fundraiser for Marylanders for Marriage Equality as part of the effort to get out the vote for Question 6 – the referendum on Maryland’s Civil Marriage Protection Act. Tonight, he appears at the 9:30 Club where he last brought his Glam Nation show back in June of 2010.
Doors open at 7pm EST, the show begins at 8pm EST. Premium Meet and Greet is at 6:30pm.

I like the pic in the poster. Very marriage-able. “Outlaws of Love” seems super appropriate for the occasion, and I ‘d love to hear him premier another song from the “dark” side. I am really looking forward to tonight, I think I have Adam withdrawals.

Yes, it is. And I agree with you. We prefer to see more Adam but they went for more of the marriage equality theme.

retjenny No I saw a tweet a little while ago that said tickets still available.
It doesn’t appear to be sold out. I was just able to buy 8 GA and 4 VIP tickets online. It seems that they keep adding more VIP tickets though! Capacity is 1200 or at least was for the Glam Nation concert.
And it appears that Adam is trying to get more people to the gig…

I saw on another site that more people would have gone had there been more notice. (that includes me!!!!). Haven’t we heard this before? Geez.
And tonight is Yom Kippur. Bad timing IMO. Some donors and attendees not there for sure.
I won’t be here for the stream, too bad, great time zone for once.
Why am I so nervous about the hair? Or lack of it. Now I think it’s going to look like Sauli’s. Real real short on the sides and that plop on top. Although the plop may be short-ish. We should have had a contest here with another kitchen appliance as prize. We’ll know in an hour or less!

Re posts above about tickets: Very poor planning. Invite Adam (or anyone) to perform and then no advertizing. Does Adam/Band get paid or just expenses? Kudos to the fans that took advantage of a great last minute experience.

retjenny, there was some advertising,but it looks like a last minute idea… who knows what really happened? Maybe organizers decided to have that benefit concert just recently?? After all it’s not a regular gig.

WOW! It looks like ginger sides leading up to dark leading up to platinum spikes!! Because the sides are the shortest, keeping them the natural color is probably the easiest. For now.
