Adam continued to show his generous side last month with his EBay auction raising money for GLAAD and his frank discussion about mental health for “Stronger Than You Think”. This month he will be performing for the Grammys #MuseumAtHome online series on June 15th. And maybe we might get more pop-up appearances throughout the month too.

In real life his eyes are mesmerizing & he looks at you like you’re the only one in the room. It was the only time in my life I was at a loss for words & a babbling idiot. He has a magnificent aura around him like no one I’ve ever met. His smile is just as powerful & captivating.

It is with much sadness to inform you all that our Kradamour passed away last night after being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer late last year.
She was a lovely generous person. Although we didn’t see each other often, I will miss her presence on this earth. I am heartbroken.

Yes, nkd, as we shared yesterday on the phone, I’m so sad to hear of kradamour’s passing. We never had the chance to meet or share a meal and a show like so many of you here did, but we did share many many personal and rather lengthy emails over the years.
One time she was on a train going cross country and had a layover in Milwaukee, we tried to meet up. But her train left. It was pretty funny.
She contacted me late last fall and wanted to gift me her Adam fan club ring, said she was giving it all away.
Now I know why….so sad.
She used to post a lot on MJ’s.
I’ll send a donation to Cancer Association in her name.
My heart goes out to dear Kradamour’s family during this difficult time. I was happy to meet and spend time with her when many of us went to Adam’s concert in Ste.-Agathe, Quebec. Since then, we became good friends on Facebook. She was in her element living part time in her tiny pied de terre in Paris where she reveled in her love for the French language and its people.
Kradamour and I had an unspecified date to one day spend time together and share her favorite drink. I always told her that it would be my treat – on many levels.
So I now raise a glass of Kir Royale dear Kradamour in your memory and, as we clink our glasses together, it was my pleasure to know you. Thank you for the happy memories and may you always rest in peace.

I remember Kradamour and our St. Agathe experience. She loved Adam so much. That was one of the most fun shows ever where most of us got to meet our mj’s “people” for the first time. She was quite the character & a great writer. I roomed with her there & she basically spent her time working on her novel. And a wonderful help translating French!
If I don’t keep posting I’ll keep “thinking”.

I was so sorry to hear the sad news about Kradamour. I always enjoyed her thoughtful and articulate posts and personal emails. I have many fond memories of her from our ALL gatherings in the early days before QAL. She had a unique and refreshing perspective on the world in general and added an element of wry humor to our gatherings. That beautiful picture Ron posted of Kradamour with her grandson in her beloved Paris made me smile. She will be missed.

QAL has been on my mind a lot the past few days. A small group of us from ALL had tickets for tonight’s concert in London in addition to the show on 6/9. We never could have imagined the mess the world would be in at this point when we bought our tickets back in October. Hopefully, the concerts will be able to take place on the rescheduled dates in 2021. Aside from the covid concerns, I do worry about the health of our rock star elders, Brian and Roger. If Brian hadn’t been overdoing his gardening during the lockdown, he may not have had his gluteal muscle and nerve injuries. But the heart attack was a ticking time bomb. Thank goodness he got his stents and the procedure went well. But, realistically, I doubt he could have gone on tour this soon after the procedure. So it looks like these London concerts would have been postponed anyway. I was enjoying Brian’s mini concerts and his remote collaborations with other musicians during the lockdown. I especially loved the QAL “We Are the Champions”. Hopefully, Brian will be able to get back to the studio soon and Roger and Adam will join him again from their homes.
