Adam flowered in May with appearances on Idol and Ellen and doing several media interviews to promote his “New Eyes” single. With an upcoming concert on GMA at the end of this month, fans will finally be able to see Adam live performing his own music before he heads out with Queen for their Rhapsody tour.

I vote for #2. I also love the photo that riskylady posted at 4:30 PM today.
I’m not crazy about Comin In Hot at this point. It’s a combination of the production and his falsetto voice that don’t appeal to me. But I’m sure it will sound much better live especially with Adam’s sultry interpretation of the lyrics on stage.

My favourite so far is feel something…I like New Eyes, it grew on me ( does sound like Niall Horans Slow hands)…not sure about Comin in Hot….at times his voice sounds too digitally distorted..but i haven’t heard it in the car yet!

I’ve loved Adam since Idol and I’m a dedicated fan, but I have to admit that I’m really not crazy about any of his new songs (or videos) so far. There aren’t good hooks or catchy melodies…and too much falsetto and distortion. Hopefully there will be a few songs that I’ll like on “Velvet.”
There were SO many great songs on his previous three albums that I really liked when I first heard them. I immediately bought the CD’s and I still like listening to many of them. I guess he’s trying to appeal to a different demographic with his new music.

I have watched the video for “CIH” and listened to the song in my car. I have mixed feelings. I love the vibe and the look of the video and the lyrics of the song.
Adam looks hot in this vid and a couple of those smiles make me melt. I prefer his chest voice and his wailing. So I need to listen some more and I am sure it will grow on me.I was in college in the seventies and love the psychedelic aspect of these 2 new vids but the sound is just not grabbing me.
I loved most of the songs on “For Your Entertainment”. “Trespassing” and TOH had 4 or 5 songs that I loved and I think it will be the same for this album.These first 3 songs for me just haven’t grabbed me from the get go.
When I think about all of the other music I have listened to since the sixties, most albums for me usually only have a few songs that really blow me away and I listen to in my car over and over again.
That being said, I love to watch Adam sing anything, he is such a sexy man and am looking forward to the several songs that surely will be on this Album that I will be blasting in my car!

Well, I do love the new songs, all 3 of them. But then, I’m a huge Prince fan, have all his albums and some special editions and have seen him twice live. Love blues and R&B and soul.
Also, the two videos are intrigueing, I like the Comin in Hot one more – lots more Adam, I like that Javi is in it, and the hot way Adam looks in his direction, the dancing. I used to club a lot in college, clubs just like that with a similar vibe. Actually, not so much falsetto in the second song, and really hardly any in Feel Something. The album will be varied, he’s already said that.
Every Adam album has been different. He hates to repeat himself. And, he says this one is more him – he’s in the driver’s seat. To expect another FYE, Trespassing, TOH is just unrealistic if you’ve paid any attention at all to his interviews.
I’m also a huge Sinatra fan, but hated his swing album. We don’t have to like every single thing. Some artists only do one thing forever, others evolve.
I love Adam the person, not every song, not every look, not every outfit, but do love all his talents and his voice. There’s no other artist right now that comes even remotely close to me.
WWHL was all about Chaka. Adam hardly said a thing. I never liked this show. But Adam looked the best ever! He has large feet. ?

I love the photo that risky Posted at 10:20. IMO it is the best photo of him in a while.
And, as usual, I agree with what risky said at 10:37. We hear his gorgeous full voice and wails in QAL and on his previous albums. Here, I just close my eyes and let the vibe of the music roll over me. He is so brave and I applaud him for constantly exploring new musical pathways.
