June has arrived and that means the start of the Queen and Adam North American summer tour. It kicks off on the 23rd in Phoenix, AZ stopping in 25 cities before heading to UK and Europe in the late fall. After a busy May on colorful carpets – Nation Concert Day, ASCAP Awards, Buzzfeed Queer Prom and the Captain Underpants premiere – Adam will now be focusing his attention on new music and fashions for the tour. First stop London for rehearsals and then back to LA while the road crew dismantles the stage set to ship to Phoenix.

    Hi gang –

    I just arrived at the hotel in Hollywood, just a short distance from the Hollywood Bowl. I’m so excited to see the shows on Monday and Tuesday! Also really looking forward to seeing so many ALLers who are here! We’ll be meeting up for a big early dinner prior to the show. It will be loads of fun to see everyone and catch up! Party

    I have severely restricted my internet use since before the Phoenix show, so as to keep myself “virginal” for tomorrow night’s show with regard to the production, the set list, Adam’s outfits, etc. It’s torture! This is the longest I’ve been away from Adam/QAL updates and pics in a very long time! Tomorrow can’t come soon enough!

    Had the busiest weekend imaginable and didn’t get to see any first concert footage at all. On Sunday Ron was at my place and he asked me if I had seen the opening. When I said that I hadn’t he kept asking “Can I tell you? Please? Can I tell you?” I kept telling him No!No!No! Finally at 9pm we went to the computer to look for a video but we were unsuccessful so I’m going to try and keep it that way until July 18th.

    In case I can’t hold on…does anyone know of a REALLY good video of the opening of the concert?
